It's all about the pressure. if you run it lightly over the skin, it is like running a feather over your skin. The harder you press, the more intense it gets. You would have to press ridiculously hard to actually break the skin. I've used it all over my wife's body, excluding her eyes. My wife actually thinks that having me run it over her clit and labia is absolutely mind-blowing - much different in sensation from a toy, finger, or tongue. It can also be used like a mallet, inasmuch as you can tap it on the skin for more focused sensations. Just like running it over the skin, the actual intensity depends on how hard you do it.

i like it to be glided along my inner labia...right next to my vulva. it doesn't hurt, but it provides a...i'm not in control situation, which i like.
