Anyone else ever blow dry their toys?

It sounds like a good idea as long as the toy doesn't have a low melting point and aren't leather, as blow drying would dry out the item.

I use older towels as they tend to have no lint. We cannot leave out toys out to air dry because we have kids who use our bathroom and I don't even feel comfortable leaving them out in our bedroom.

I don't own a blow dryer. I have to borrow one of my daughters' blow dryers when I need to do something like use plastic on a window or something like that.

I blow dry my silicone toys if I'm about to do a video review on it. I want them to look clean, and like you said, drying with a towel leaves lint on them. For regular care, I don't bother to blow dry since I rinse my toys off before use anyway.

Another no-blowdryer household chiming in. Good idea, though.. avoid the highest temps, I'd imagine. We have a batch of microfiber cloths we use for clean-up - ourselves & our toys: soft and non-linty.

I don't. I just towel dry and they seem fine.

I barely touch my blow-dryer, since I find it to be noisy and annoying, so I probably wouldn't do this. I just let mine air-dry on top of my toy box. It takes a bit longer, but it works for me.

Yeah, I think I am going to pass. More than anything else, it seems like a lot of work that I don't really need to put into it.

good safety idea for preventing mold. how ever people have to be careful not to get the toys to hot and warp them. metal toys should just be wiped dry.

Yeah, like I said I only do it with silicone toys, so there's no problem with getting them hot. My toys are like 99% silicone so I didn't think to say that in the original post, but obviously not everyone's are, so I should have mentioned that. I don't think a blow dryer would get hot enough to warp metal though. I mean, my metal pots and pans don't get warped from the oven/stove. But I just dry metal toys with a towel because they don't pick up lint.

I never thought of it, but it sounds like a good idea. I live by myself though so I don't have problems leaving them out to airdry, but if I ever have company, I will keep this in mind.

I think the only concern with metal toys would be if they got too hot to touch. You'd have to let them sit until they cooled. But like you said, they don't pick up lint, so it's not a big deal.

I have done this, but normally just sling my silicone toys around a bit so all the water flings off.

I've never tried this but it should like a great idea, the thing I dislike about Fleshlight is that they have to air dry this might fix that problem.

I tried it since I have the same problem and it didn't work that well.

I've never considered it, but it's not a bad idea.

That sounds like a good plan to me, as long as you use low heat/cold.

I might have to try that. That’s a brilliant idea.
