Are designated toy boxes for your sex toy worth it?

I've noticed some very nice looking solutions for storing your sex toys on the site, what advantages does this have over other storage options? Why did you buy one?

yeah, i have seen a lot of them. i can understand using them when you are traveling or if you have more than a few housemates around that are going into the area that you would play.

I have been considering the same thing. I feel like I NEED something (specifically something largish) to store my collection in because it is growing, but I don't know if I want to spend the money right now. I wish I could find something big and inexpensive...

I do have one two boxes and then some pouches. I can say that all the storage devices I've bought have been useful, but depending on your needs you could find much cheaper options. I don't know if you have Ross stores by you, but basically they're a discount store and they have some home decor in there..there's probably similar stores all over. Anyway, the point is that they have some really nice decorative boxes that would work out excellently for toy storage for EXTREMELY good prices. I've seen some for like $10 and under that would work out well. Thing is though, these don't usually have a way to lock them, so if you need locking boxes..it's better to either look at the specifically made toy storage or maybe at fire boxes, I believe those usually lock.

If you don't need something that locks you could get one of those tupperware type carts with drawers.

They can be worth it, depending on your situation. If you don't need to hide things, or travel with them, then there are cheaper options.

I have some made for toys and some that are just make-up bags. I love both, but the ones made for toys are more organized and have a place for cleaners and lube, plus the locks (I have small kids).

I've never bought one, but I feel like it'd be a good investment to keep things private.

I use them just to keep stuff organized. As my collection grows, it becomes more and more important.

I personally use a bookcase, where I can keep my books and media along side my toys that are shown off like collectibles. The ones that just need storage are kept in nice boxes that I either had or have aquired--the Kama Sutra boxes, for example.

I use them to keep my silicone toys from touching each other and melding into each other. I also find it keeps the nasties from getting on them. I have so many animals I live with that it's hard to keep everything clean.

I started with a bureau drawer, then a regular light tool box but now use "see through" shoe storage boxes that I slide under the bed. Very reasonable to buy. I also place each toy in a seperate zip lock bag as well.

I think it's worth it if you have snoops around.

Just bought one (for Valentine's Day gift) for some toys. She has mentioned off-and-on about wanting one...and I found a beautiful one.

I want to buy a lockable chest. A lot of the toy boxes on here are not large enough for my collection.

Wish I had a place other than a drawer for my collection.

Eden has some nice storage choices for smaller collections, but for our large collection of toys, I'll stick with my tool chest. It was easily worth what I paid for it.

We made a beautiful sex toy box that is locking out of a dresser drawer. It is satin lined and has shapes cut out that fit some of the toys perfectly.

I just use a nice quality toolbox... it's a lot bigger and less conspicuous than the choices they have on eden (not to mention a hell of a lot cheaper)
