Batteries in those little plastic holders?

Contributor: Jessica Elizabeth Jessica Elizabeth
So, we all know that leaving batteries in our vibrators can drain the batteries and leaves the toy open to the risk of the battery going bad and spooging battery juices all over inside of it.

But what about those new little plastic holders that comes in some vibrators now? Are those safe to leave our batteries in? I don't imagine there'd be a problem since there really isn't a current running through them unless it's inside the battery.

What do you guys think?

Which vibrators are you talking about? I can give you some idea if you could give me an example.

I wouldn't think leaving them in the plastic sleeve a problem - if they are taken out of the toy.
I personally hate those plastic sleeves.
The Seduction Silicone and the Getaways have them. Some toys ya can do away with the sleeve - like I did with the Seduction (the batteries were almost impossible to get out of the sleeve) but unfortunately, the Luxe rattles if ya don't put the batteries in the plastic. Uggg.

I leave batteries in my toys with no issues. YET.

Yes you can still have problems. I have found that it depends on you environment, if you live in a humid area there is a better chance of corrosion/rust. It does help that there is no current flowing but that does not guaranty it. I also leave my battery's in and do not have problems, but I also use Dielectric grease on all my battery's.

The first of the year I will be doing a work shop on just this topic. Look for it.

Thanks guys! Muddog the toys I have right now that have the sleeves that I use regularily are the My First JackRabbit and Cal Exotic's L'Amour.

Dwtin: I'll be looking forward to your workshop! And yea, it's "humid" here, but the dew point is so low you don't notice it.

I'll keep them in the sleeves. Just makes things easier ^^
