It really depends on mood, but we also throw some studded ones into the mix, too. That way, we have three options for play time!

I used to love studded condoms before I developed a latex allergy. Now I don't use condoms anymore.

Texture has irritated me in the past, so I voted for regular condoms. If I were in a stable relationship, it would be nice to not have to use them at all. It all irritates me so much.

Either we don't notice a difference at all, or the texture is actually uncomfortable. What's worse is 'heating, tingly or cooling' sensation condoms which can cause burning and irritation and end the sex session quickly. We prefer smooth condoms with regular lubrication.

I don't feel a difference between regular and ribbed condoms, but we use ribbed ones because those are one of the only types that have a little extra room inside and fit my man.

I loathe condoms, and fortunately I'm in a monogamous relationship and on birth control so don't have to use them anymore. I think no matter what kind you use, they all feel unnatural. I like the skin to skin feeling.

I'm not convinced there's much of a difference between regular and ribbed. I don't have much experience with ribbed, though. I guess I could be wrong. But I strongly prefer nonlatex, which typically only comes in "regular."

Ribbed condoms are hit and miss with me. Sometimes the ribs hurt. My boyfriend and I use plain, ultra thin non-latex condoms by Trojan. He has never complained about wearing condoms and it feels good to him either way so it doesn't matter.
