I have a decent-sized toy collection, so I have lots to choose from. This is awesome - variety is the spice of life, after all! But sometimes, when I decide I'm ready for some playtime, I open my toy box and find myself having trouble deciding what would be best.

I know at least a few people here on Eden have collections ten times the size of mine, so I'm wondering if The Kinky Populace (e.g. everyone here on Eden) ever has this same problem. How do you make up your mind? (for the size of your collection, just go by what you consider to be "a lot.")

I know exactly what I want from a scene and during intercourse with someone. So even though my collection is quite big, I still can look at everything, know what to pick, and use it.

I voted small collection because when it comes to "toys" I only have a couple. I don't have a hard time choosing because I don't have many so my options are limited lol... I could basically just do eeny meeny miney moe. (I probably spelled that incorrectly)

But if "lingerie" is considered a toy, then I have a hard time choosing. I have a bunch of different peices and I love them all lol

I don't really know! That sounds like it'd be difficult with a big collection. I am young and frugal, basically afraid of buying anything, so I haven't even got more than 2 insertable toys--I have handcuffs, but that's a different ballpark. I guess just reach in with your eyes closed and grab something.

I think we all have those moments when we can't decide what we want at that moment. I would probably just pick something randomly and see how it makes me feel. You can always switch.

My display cabinet is almost full (having to find inventive ways of packing more in) and I know what I want when I play.
Either that or my Master has instructed me on which ones I'm to use for a task he has set me.

I have one clitoral vibrator (an Eroscillator) that I almost always favor, so that's an easy pick. Every once in a while, I do have a hard time choosing between my Ella and Betty's Barbell because they're both good g-spot toys. But Ella is much lighter and you have to hang on to her, whereas you can use the barbell hands-free, so it usually comes down to how lazy I'm feeling, and whether I want that extra benefit of cold play that the barbell provides.

I usually know what I want even before I play. If I want shower sex I use my glass toys and If I just want to get of quickly clitorally I use my evolved seduction. I never have problems deciding.

There are definitely times when I find it hard to choose, but usually I can figure out what's best by the situation I'll be using it in. For example if I'm going to be in the shower I obviously narrow it down to the waterproof ones and decide what kind of play I want. For the bedroom I choose the opposite of waterproof since they can be used another time whereas the non waterproof can't. It's very simple, but it works for me

I have a medium collection, and sometimes I have trouble deciding. But by "trouble" I mean I spend maybe three minutes thinking about it and then if I can't decide I just grab one of my top three. If we're prepping for a scene then I pretty much know what she is going to want, unless she says otherwise.

I have a finicky vagina, so I usually just go by what I think my vag can handle at that time, in terms of girth, texture, etc.

I also try not to use vibrators too often, because I don't like the numbing effect they have... so if I recently used a vibe, I don't feel compelled to use one soon after.

My collection is so small. A couple of dildos and some vibrators right now, so I usually just pick whichever vibrator is most powerful and the highest quality dildo.

I always like to have small collections of everything I use, so I don't have trouble deciding. Just like clothes, you have too many, you will be spending a lot of time thinking about different combos/what to wear.
