We just tend to cycle through things. There are also groups of toys, from light to heavy play.

I know at least a few people here on Eden have collections ten times the size of mine, so I'm wondering if The Kinky Populace (e.g. everyone here on Eden) ever has this same problem. How do you make up your mind? (for the size of your collection, just go by what you consider to be "a lot.") less

Usually, we just grab whatever is on top or readily handy. If we're planning to try something new and need something specific then we take it out before we get into things, then its right there when we want it.

Good discussion topic! I tend to choose the toy that's best for the job. Wanking? I'm going straight to the Hitachi. Teasing toy? My Fresh flogger. My collection is still small enough at this point that I don't have much overlap in terms of what each toy is good for.

I have a few toys I got for my gilrfriend, and usually while my girlfriend and I can decide what we want to use, there's occasionally that "I'm not sure which to use" moment.

I choose mine on mood. If I have trouble deciding I usually go for multiples in a session or I will simply grab one out of the drawer and surprise myself!

I have very few toys, and only one for each "function," so it's not that difficult. (Well, that's not totally true of the SM toys/bondage stuff, but with that I tend just to pick what I feel like. I've never found that difficult.)
