I usually soak in the bath tub for about ten minutes and use a really good shave cream and sharp razor. Afterwards I'll rinse with cold water since it helps to close the pores and I follow up with an aftershave lotion to help prevent ingrown hairs and such!

yes! i've always wondered how to avoid this. It doesnt hurt or anything, i just hate the way it looks lol but when they itch i normally rub a little baby powder on them and it helps. Also a little lotion with aloe and or vitamin E in it works well too.

Heck yeah! I used to get them all the time with my sensitive skin. I changed razors (no more cheapies for me) and haven't had them in years. I either use the Schick one with the wires around the blades (forget what their called) or the Venus Breeze/spa with the shave stuff on them.

I used Venus razors for years and I would always get some bumps or irritation, but a few weeks ago I switched to using Gillette Proglide, and it works so much better. No irritation at all and a super close shave. I was shocked. I also use hair conditioner instead of shaving cream.

Yes. I found a trick if you havent shaved in a while shave downwards the next few times you shave then you can shave how you want. baby oil works good while shaving also.

You can always give Coochy Shave Creme a try. I work in a sex toy shop, and we have a lot of people who swear by this.

I get them all the time. New razors (Venus Breeze) aren't as bad. Just sensitive skin.

I use to get them a lot but I switched to a better razor and now not so much. For me going with the hair rather than against it helps then I'll go against it but slowly. Usually helps for me. Occasionally I'll get some bumps if I shave too often and go too fast. Since it's a very delicate area, always take your time!
