I've never used glass toys, and I only know a little bit about them. Have you used them? Are they safe to use?

They are totally safe as long as there are no cracks or scratches. They are hard so care must be used during use so as not to bruise delicate tissues but the do provide firm stimulation/pressure. Also, the textures are better felt for the same reason. They tend to feel bigger than soft material toys of the same size since there is no give to them, so say a toy in the 1 1/2 diameter range is at you limits a glass toy the same size may be too much. Any lube can be used and since the surface is smooth little will be needed if any. Glass is wonderful for temperature play as it hold those temps longer than a soft material can.

I've used them, but never owned them. They are probably the safest thing you can use (right up there with 100% silicone). Just gotta be careful to inspect them for chips and cracks before use. They are good with all lubes (not that you'll need much). the texture of glass toys is WAY more intense so that's something to keep in mind.

we have a few glass toys, they have never given us any problems. It all depends on how firm and unforgiving you enjoy your toys as to whether or not you would enjoy using one or not.
