...a glass toy break inside them? Or heard of it happening to someone else? I'm thinking it would be highly unlikely if not impossible..perhaps if you heated it up and then chilled it too (or vice versa) too fast? Thoughts?

Highly doubtful a glass toy would break inside of you. Most are borosilicate (sp) glass...same as Pyrex (pretty much). They're pretty sturdy and probably wouldn't break unless you try to break/chip it.

They are completely solid all the way through. If one were to break inside you, you'd have a vag of steel. The only way I can think of this happening is if it was already cracked. You should check your toys for cracks when you first get it and then every so often if you're not storing it in a padded bag to make sure it hasn't been been compromised through banging/dropping or whatnot.

Never heard of this either. As BBW said, you've have to have a vag of steel, because glass toys are not thin like a wine glass. They're solid and really strong. You should always inspect them for defects, cracks or chips, and you shouldn't throw them down onto a hard surface - but it isn't like you have to treat them with kid gloves.

Though I guess it's theoretically possible, I've never heard of it happening either.

highly unlikely to happen. Pyrex glass is pretty strong. I have dropped many Pyrex items and have non of them break.
