How Did You Introduce Your Partner to a Sex Toy?

My experience with introducing my boyfriend to sex toys was definitely unique. When we first started dating, my (then) Owner had a 'no sex with new partners 'til they've been tested' rule. So, I brought up toys as an alternative to penetrative sex. He thought that was one of the hottest thing ever, and now loves trying out all my new toys on me. lol He doesn't have any illusions that the toy is replacing him, so I don't have any advice on that front, sorry.

I just handed it to my husband (boyfriend at the time) and said "Hey! Look what I got in the mail today!"

When I bought one for my wife..."Can't believe you do not have one, you are going to love this." She does and now several toys are mixed in to our play time.

I just pulled the toy out of my bag and surprised her. she laughed at first, but then got off using it.

We had discussed them for a time, and then we had a really hot night and I mentioned it again, and she said she'd like one. I went out at 11:00 in the night to pick it up and we haven't looked back since.

I haven't used anything with my boyfriend yet. I'm hoping to introduce him to my Bottle Rocket Apollo, because it's small and not intimidating at all, but I want to wait till we have a long time to spend in bed, not just a standard romp between us being away at school.
