Packaging

I'm sort of a picky person. I am really turned off by lame plastic packaging not only because it's frustrating to open but because it's no very eco friendly. How about you?

Have you ever thought "Wow! This packaging is nice?" Or the opposite?
I was impressed with the box the BNaughty came with. It was a velvety cardboard just like the toy itself.

Oh yes. Packaging matters to me. I'm perplexed that most glass dildos still come in plastic packages. It's kinda lame.

My favorite packaging has been Vixen Creations. My Buddy butt plug came in this cute plastic tube with a top that could just be pulled off. You could see the plug and it was reusable. A close second would be Tantus -- all their boxes are clear as well.

Evolved has those crazy tins, but as much as they are useful, I feel like they are too much.

Fun Factory's boxes are pretty cool, too. They have a lot of information on them.

I've never received any toys with cool packaging!!! I would love it though because I'm definitely hooked by a gorgeous display and feel.

Pyrex has AWFUL packaging. Just this crappy plastic thing, the sort of packaging that they have for like curling irons. However, it does showcase their toys very well, just not in the way I wish it would. I did receive one toy that was junk but the packaging was really, really nice- I've learned never to judge a book by it's cover. Packaging is all part of the sale, if the box doesn't look good to consumers they won't pick it up and look closer at the item for sale.

I like classier packaging. I love Lelo, NJoy, and Evolved (though I don't like some of the toys as much as the packaging!).

I hate the bulky plastic containers. My partner recently got a toy that was a cardboard box with animation. I liked it, simply because we could either recycle it or use it for heating my home (I have a woodburner- cuts down on the gas bill!).

I like the evolved packaging and fun factory. and my mr. man from jollie came in a handy tube. It makes me extra happy when my toys come in packaging that looks quality and can be used to store the toy in my bin.

I've had terrible luck with Spartacus. Both products I've bought from them had fallen out of the package and were wandering around the box! Their shrink wrap really blows apparently. That's a huge turnoff for me, but luckily those toys weren't insertable so I wasn't horrifically freaked out.

I luv the NJoy and Lelo packaging. I have kept the boxes and store the toys in them.

Lelo's packaging is so incredibly gorgeous and pretty and high-class, though the satin pouch they included with the GiGi is kind of cheaply made.

Packaging doesn't kill a toy for me, but it can certainly make something more appealing. I love Lelo's gorgeous packaging; it's just so elegant!

They're all like that. Nice box and then you get to the pouch. I recently received my first glass toy. Gorgeous pouch- ZERO padding.
Eh. Can't get everything I suppose.

I love some of the Lucid Dreams packaging. Yes, they're plastic, but they're very pretty, and I do try and keep as many of them as I can (to maintain the toy's shape and protect it). Of course, some, I just can't keep due to storage issues.

You also have to think that if they spend a lot more time and effort on packaging, the cost would go up too, cuz, the nicer the packaging, the more expensive it will be.

The Lilo products have FANTASTIC boxing, however, look at the cost of them.......

Yeah, I wish they'd do more eco-friendly packaging. But, from a retailer's POV, I can see why they don't due to protecting their products and the cost of it.

I'm a fan of the Fun Factory and Evolved packaging as well.... I kind of wish Evolved had less text on their little tins though. They keep me from using the tin everyday as a pencil or makeup case! The box that my Fun Factory Cuffies came in was pretty awesome as well--I loved the artsy designs on the box and the way it uses magnets to close.

It's been mentioned at least twice already, but I'll say it again--glass toys definitely need prettier packaging! Don Wands are the typical plastic "pop-open" shell, but at least they come with nice padded pouches that are fuzzy and pillow-like. I'd love a little display box for my glass toys though.

I like classy simplistic packaging, especially Zini's.

I am really turned off by nakedness on the packages, or if it's just really cheap looking.
