I try...very hard...to keep most of it a surprise but a good 70% of the time I wind up telling him. xD
You could ask anyone in my family, I've never been good at surprising people when it comes to presents.

It depends. Most of the time he knows what I got. When he doesn't, I offer to tell him and he makes the decision as to whether or not he wants to be surprised.

On a few occasions I have surprise him, but I mostly end up spilling because he gets to be as excited as I am while we wait for it to arrive.
