Spanking yourself can be a real thrill because if you want it YOU must be the one to keep going.
It definitely helps if you have an image in mind or a reason for spankings imo.
I tried the spoon, brush,belt, and the paddle, which was narrow but thick enough to really leave some marks!

Oddly wooden spoon is tied with brush. At least as of 4/25/15, it is. I think a hair brush imparts a little too much sting.

The best way it to experience it for you self. If she is not willing, you will have to do it yourself. Take the same route as Sym... As anything start slow.

I was spanked as a child. This was done to "correct bad behavior", however, it didn't work for me. If anything, it only emboldened me. I will not be spanking myself.
