What would you say if your spouse asked you for a threesome?

my wife and i are actually discussing this now. I am for it and she is too but we can't agree on the type of threesome (MFM or FMF). We seem to have compromised on trying both.
We have agreed that the only way this will happen is in vegas with paid escorts.
Morally we are still not 100% sure if we will ever actually go through with it.

I'm up for it, so the minute he asks if I want to try a threesome, I'll tell him to get the bad boy/girl in here XD.

Been there, done that
It was a good time, but I think if my spouse and I wanted to engage in another threesome I would want to have a little more discussion and planning beforehand. I am all for it, and wouldn't consider it to be an issue for our relationship at all, but I would definitely want to make sure that we both knew our expectations and desires going into it so that we could enjoy it to the fullest!

We'd discuss pros and cons.

We would discuss who, where, and when. I rarely get all horny about any suggestion and I never jump into something without thinking about it first.

Now when my husband did ask me to participate in a threesome I did feel like there was something inadequate about me and it took me many long and hard years to undo this destructive and silly thought pattern. Curiosity and thrill seeking is a human drive it has nothing to do with a partner...thinking this way is as silly as saying if you are married you shouldn't ever want to go skydiving because being on the ground with your partner should be all you ever need!
If your partner asks you to try something as iconic as a threesome then he/she is saying that he/she is curious and wants to try something different. For goodness sake it doesn't say anything is lacking in your sex life....anymore than your partner wanting to try some different type of food means they are bored or hate the food he/she normally eats.

Great question...just recently had 3somes enter my life, and wow. We've had one (MFF) and are planning another with a beyond sexy girl. It's been LOTS of fun, and actually has made us even closer.
With that said, we've always communicated really well with each other, and were fully satisfied BEFORE entering this journey. It was simply another fun thing to try, not something we needed.
If considering, definitely be very open with your partner about your needs and jealousy. We started talking to another couple after our first 3some, and the wife was so aggressive, both with myself and my husband that it was a total turnoff. But if we hadn't discussed it, we might have let ourselves get dragged into meeting them. No fun.
Next on the list is MFM, but MFF is so much fun, there's no rush.

I'd ask her what the heck she was smoking considering she's not into that kind of thing. LOL

First of all, I would be shocked if she asked me, and I wouldn't mind going along with it as long it involved another female.

I'll probably discuss the pros and cons with him - but I know he's not into that kind of play.

So the only way to say "no" is either to freak out and cry or leave your spouse?
For me that would be a hard an fast "no not ever in a relationship" I'd be more than willing to explain and support my position, but it will not be changed.

The Hubby and I have discussed, and I actually wrote a series of posts on my blog discussing how to plan a threesome and the issues surrounding them. I think we will probably have one in the next year. Now the problem is finding a third...
10/03/2012
We've discussed the pros and cons and have come to the realization that it is not for us, but we admire those that can pull it off successfully.
10/03/2012
I have discussed it before. But I am a picky person it would take me a long time just to pick the people and by then I would forget all about it.

Same as above. Obviously we are humans and it would probably give me a huge hard-on initially, but....
10/03/2012
No way in hell would either of us ever be interested in that.
10/03/2012
I had a hard time picking which one to vote for because honestly this would never happen. My man and I are both extremely jealous people, so neither one of us would ever consider a threesome.

Discuss pros and cons. I definitely want to know, and be a part of choosing, the third person!

I would have to discuss it more with him but I would be inclined to say yes

Theoretically, if I ever married a man, and this were the case...I'd leave for good. My "spouse" would know better than to degrade my love of women to something for his pleasure.
Hard to imagine when girls don't like ya back, and you only want to marry a girl, so I don't honestly know.

Depends on who he was interested for a third, tbh.

My wife knows I would be no problem; the hard part would be getting the person she wants to agree. (Not like I could come up with anyone either though.)

Depends on the situation.

Ha Ha if you knew my husband, that wouldn't happen but I would be open to it!

We have had a threesome. Before it happened we did discuss some pros and cons and talked about picking someone we could both agree on. It was a lot of fun, although it wasn't exactly as we planned because the poor girl we had one with ended up getting her period that night and couldn't join in on play as much as we all wanted because she finds sex on her period painful. We still had fun til the sun rose, though. We both want to have another one, and we have discussed a mmf threesome but we haven't found a suitable guy yet.
