Where do keep your toys hidden/organized?

Contributor: fabidefabi fabidefabi
I'm sure most of us started out keeping them in a drawer, but what did you do when your collection expanded. We have been considering buying a stand-up jewerly case. It would be classy to have them discreetly displayed in in a really nice case.

I wonder if it'd be illegal to display toys in your living room window?

When I have my own place with my man, I will totally consider doing a display case in our bedroom. That way they'd always be handy to grab! For now mine live in separate cloth bags together in a canvas shopping bag. Not very classy.

We built a headboard cabinet on the bed to hold ours, but even with that we still have things laying out and in various other places.

I have this neat storage ottoman, which is their rightful place.

That said, most of the ones I use regularly are either in my bathroom or on my nightstand.

We use two locking chests (like small steamer trunks) that are stacked in the corner. That keeps them out of view from the kids and adds a fun accent to the room.

I got a standard underbed storage box and created padding for it by cutting foam pieces to fit the bottom and sides, and covering the foam pieces with a nice fabric (I chose a faux fur).

Bedside drawer, box, and hope chest, although I'm starting to run out of space.

I've been looking online for storage options. OMG a jewelry case is an amazing idea! I don't have room for one of those right now though. So far I've got many little decorative boxes (I'm a box fan. I love organizing my stuff in funky boxes. Usually I make em' myself!) and I also have a freaking book bag in my closet with them! Lol I've got to find a better solution. I store one in each of my small vanity drawers too.

the ones we are using regularly are in the drawer by the bed, the rest are in the closet.

All my toys are kept in drawers in an orderly fashion, inside my walk-in closet.

Three drawers (his, mine and ours). And now that there are no kids in the house, we also use two of the shelves on our bedroom bookshelves.

We have two drawers in the bedroom, but like a lot of others, the ones we use most often are lying about (either in the bathroom drying or on the nightstand). I also have a stack of the ones needing some sort of attention (reviews, one manufacturer's return, and some games we have yet to even try) in my office!

For the most part, they are wherever I happen to be or need them. They only get hidden away when specific types of company may be in the house.

That's actually along the lines of what we've been thinking about doing! Right now we have a nice storage box that I keep under my nightstand, but it's getting a teensy bit tight for all of our toys.

At the moment I use a storage box that I keep under the bed, but I'll eventually need to upgrade as my collection grows.

Third shelf on the bookshelf. We're taking our chances with anyone walking into our room.

I'm actually trying to figure this out right now for our collection. It is quickly growing and the space in our end tables is becoming less and less...

Hide? Nah, I just keep them together in a drawer to get at them easier.

I have mine in a Devine Toys Lace Box next to my side of the bed. It's not locked. I don't really have to keep things locked up or hidden. My husband has his Fleshlight in its original tin on his nightstand and some other toys in his sock drawer.

I just have a little finger fun vibe I keep in a sock either tucked into my pillow or sock drawer.
