Island Fever 4 by Digital Playground - review by mjtheprincess

My boyfriend and I recently acquired a copy of Island Fever 4. This is our first joint purchase in the porn world, and I am beyond pleased with it. We were hoping to find some attractive people and beautiful settings for a good backdrop to our own play time to change things up a little.

I'm still new to the whole watching-porn-with-my-man thing, and it really intimidated me. I almost felt like it was a competition with me and the tv... could I be louder than her, could I be sexier than her? If you've ever felt this way, or fear you would feel this way in your first few experiences with couples porn, Island Fever 4 is for you. There is no annoying, fake orgasm noises from girls who are trying to sell it, no grunting ugly men, and no distractions. All you get is sexy solo, partner, and group settings of some beautiful people in beautiful places. The lack of dialogue, plot, and noises may cause this movie to fall short for some, but as a back drop movie, Island Fever 4 is perfect.

The music is this film has a fun Island feel to it. Sexy, yet steady in the beat. The location is stunning, mostly filmed on Bora Bora. And the girls are some of the best, according to my well seasoned porn boyfriend. Much to his delight, all but two of the featured ladies were in some steamy girl-on-girl scenes. All the women had phenomenal solo sessions, and for once, the men in the videos are not THAT hard on the eyes — maybe it's because I don't have to hear them groaning. There is nearly three hours of film on this three-disc set, and not a stitch of clothing to be seen in most of the footage. There is the occasional condom though.

The bonus DVD, packed full of extras and commentary, was kind of boring — not something I would watch more than once.

The beach and jungle scenes do not offer an incredibly large amount of variation, and I found myself kind of sleepy in portions where I wasn't getting my own real life attention. There was also a little bit of over editing and random cuts in and out of scenes — kind of annoying! There was one girl-on-girl scene that won some kind of award (according to my boyfriend) and he raved about that one. But the rest of the film falls short on the potential that he was hoping for. He said that it was a good DVD for what we purchased it for, but it did not match the previous Island Series videos.

In all, for a video playing in the background Island Fever 4 is perfect. It has awesome music, no distracting fake groans or poorly planned plot, and beautiful locations and people that set nice scenes. All in all, this video will find its way into my DVD player from time to time when I feel like I want to change things up with my man, but as far as for a solo session, I don't think either of us will grab it as our top choice.

We still pop this video in from time to time, especially when we want to pretend we are at the beach. I have a feeling that we will be finding more and more reasons to watch this when the rainy season comes back in Oregon.
