This introductory box to the world of bondage was a pleasant surprise. I am used to gift sets like this being one time only experiences, but BONDAGE 101 is well designed. The game isn't intimidating and allows you to manipulate the fantasies as you see fit to make you and your partner more comfortable. Of course, you can use the silk tie and paddle as you see fit apart from the game as well.

With a little bit of wine, some candlelight and a willingness to explore, this game gave us a great amount of pleasure. There were some cool oral sex tips that were on the cards and some interesting position suggestions that made use of the equipment in the box. They also suggest using props like chairs for certain sexual games. After we got settled, we started adding bits and pieces of different fantasies together and combined them. So, we used the ties along with the paddle in a number of activities that they seemed to work well in. Oddly enough, we never tried it before we purchased this little sex game.

I used the silk tie but also used two of my own silk NECK ties. They provided the extra length needed to tie each other up per the card's instructions. Also, I used a more luxurious blindfold, purchased separately once we found out the blindfold that comes with the set is oddly small and doesn't contort to the face. With the exception of that, everything else was quality and has lasted weeks of play. Plus, I like the fact that the box is sturdy enough to use as storage. Many times, the boxes of these things fall apart as soon as you unwrap them. So if you are thinking about starting light bondage, give this a try.

We didn't use the dice that came with it. They are difficult to see if you have any sort of ambient lighting going on for the mood. Instead, just take turns reading the male/female fantasy cards. And as a heads up (pun intended), some cards are more hardcore than others. For example, the most extreme card explains how the female partner is to treat the male partner like a slave and ride them like a horse around the bed. BUT, nearly every other card is sexy, fun and at an "intro" level to the bondage world.
