Peni-toss - gags discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Breas

I usually don’t purchase gag items like Peni-Toss by Cal Exotics but it was recently on sale and I thought the smiling penis was sort of hilarious. I figured it would be fun if my sister ever came over or I had some girlfriends over. Even if we didn’t play toss, the novelty of the smiling penis was worth the money.

Peni-Toss comes in a clear plastic package with a cardboard top. You can see the game through the plastic. The cardboard has a cartoon picture of two females tossing the penis. It states the product name, contents included, and the company name. The packaging is not good for storing the game once it’s been opened.



The game includes 2 hand paddles and 1 plush penis. The game is fairly simple. It requires two players. Each player puts a paddle on their hand and they toss the penis to each other. The penis will stick to the paddle’s Velcro.

With a bit of creativity, you could turn the game into a drinking game or just a game with a bit more complexity than tossing the penis. For example, every time a player doesn’t catch the penis, they take a drink/tell something about themselves/make an animal noise/whatever. I think the game would be a great icebreaker at a party where not everyone knows each other.

The plush penis is pink in colour and has a face sewn onto it: 2 eyes and a smile. The penis is 3 ½ inches in length and his head is 1 ¾ inches wide. The paddles are pink in colour with a diameter of just over 5 inches. The inside of each paddle feels like it is cardboard. Each paddle has a large red heart on it. The red heart is the Velcro that you use to catch the penis when it’s tossed to you.



The back of each paddle has an adjustable strap to secure it to your hand. The strap is black in colour and ¾ of an inch in length. The straps secure themselves with Velcro. The one piece of Velcro is 3 inches. The paddle fit my hand (7 ¼ inch circumference) nicely and should fit most hands because it can be adjusted in size.



The plush penis sticks really well to the Velcro. The game is really easy and surprisingly, a lot of fun. The novelty does wear off after a while but it’s fun while it lasts. The overall quality of the game contents isn’t really that good… but I didn’t expect a whole lot for five dollars. What are most important is that the Velcro is attached to the paddle well and that the straps on the back of the paddles are secure (which both are).



If the plush penis gets dirty, you could throw him in the washing machine. I’d probably recommend just hand washing the paddles if you needed to clean them because I think the insides is cardboard.

Overall, I really like Peni-Toss. With a bit of creativity, you can make the game really interesting. It’s fun, easy to use, and easy to understand. I’m a bit disappointed that Peni-Toss doesn’t seem to be available right now for purchase. I hope they bring the game back so I can buy a few more to put in stockings at Christmas time.

I still love the Peni-Toss! Whenever I have someone over, I pull the game out. It's fun to see the look on peoples faces. Sometimes it's a laugh and other times they look shocked and scared. The velcro has held up well and nothing has detached. It's still in great shape. I'm very happy I purchased this before it became discontinued!
