Lover's light bulb review

I dressed in my sexy lingerie and waited patiently for my boyfriend to come home. When he did, I called him to the bedroom. He asked, "What's this?" I told him that I wanted him to know how special he was to me and that I thought he deserved a romantic night of lovemaking. I also told him that I received a light bulb for our pleasure.

somewhat useful review
I received my “Lover’s Light Bulb” in the mail today. My first thought was, “How am I going to use this thing?” “Will it work,” was my next thought. The lover’s light bulb is red with white hearts and plugs into any regular light socket. It took me about a week to even consider using it. I suppose it could be used to make the mood more romantic and it could also be given as a great Valentine’s Day gift.

So after about a week, I began planning a romantic session with my boyfriend. I wondered if he would like our new “light bulb.” I went into our bedroom and had to change out the lamps in there because I only have touch lamps in there. I put the lamp on the nightstand, unscrewed the regular bulb, and inserted the wondrous “Lover’s Light Bulb.” After plugging it in, I turned on the lamp and then turned off my overhead light. At first, it seemed the light was situated in the one corner of the room. Hmmm, maybe I need to take the lampshade off. So, I did. The light projected much more brightly when I took it off. It was a peaceful reddish/pinkish glow that emitted from the red parts and a soft white light emitting from the white hearts. I had half expected to be able to see the outline of the hearts on the wall, but was disappointed. I did not give up. I went about my business in the bedroom, lighting incense, getting out my sexy lingerie, and making the room more alluring and romantic. The light bulb began to actually annoy me. The white hearts seemed to be brighter than the red accent. It was too bright for our small room, but still, I had to give it a chance.

I dressed in my sexy lingerie and waited patiently for my boyfriend to come home. When he did, I called him to the bedroom. He asked, “What’s this?” I told him that I wanted him to know how special he was to me and that I thought he deserved a romantic night of lovemaking. I also told him that I received a light bulb for our pleasure. He looked over at it and smiled and said it was “cute”. We got on with our romancing but had to stop part way through. The white hearts of the bulb were just too bright. The light wasn’t so soft anymore and it, like before, became annoying. We ended up turning it off.

Overall, I didn’t like the product too much. At first it was fine, but after a while, it seemed to kill the mood by its brightness. Maybe it would be better if it was all red, with no white hearts. This would be great for a Valentine’s Party or something to that effect, or as a gag gift. I really wouldn’t recommend it for anything else.  I would give it 1 star.
