Lust... will leave you lusting for more!

A great idea with poor execution for a game entitled "Lust!". A better title would simply be "Foreplay!". This couples only board game can be a little repetitive after two or three rounds. However, for the first couple of times, you'll be ready to throw the board across the room and jump on your lover. Not a bad introduction to some "kinky" activities you might be too nervous to talk about yet though.

Lust! was a game that my wife and I really enjoyed playing the first time. Afterwards, the story isn't so rosy. However, let me preface that by saying this game would be great for couples who have trouble breaking out of a rut or trying something new. For couples who are already a little adventurous, then this game probably won't come close to a hot role-playing scene that you'll make up yourself. Regardless, the point of Lust! as a game is to "build your fantasy" or combine a number of different actions to make a night together really hot and sexy.

To start with, Lust! is a traditional board game with a dice and two moveable game pieces that will make their way across the game board each time you role the dice. There are a number of different spaces that your game piece can land on as you move it around the board. There are yellow Body Language cards, Orange Romance cards, and Red Sensuality cards. Each time you land on a space that is colored, you pick up a card with the corresponding color. The orange Romance cards also have a chance to pick up a Love-Making card with a heart on it if you do certain actions or get a certain reaction out of your partner. For example, a Romance card says, "Share with your lover the most recent sexual dream you have had about the two of you. If your lover finds it romantic, award yourself one Love-Making Card." Love-Making cards will either have sexual positions for intercourse or specific foreplay actions immediately before intercourse such as the Cowgirl position card or the Spanking action card. As you are playing, you will be performing the Body Language, Sensuality, and Romance card all throughout the game but will not turn over the Love-Making cards until you both reach the Bed (end zone). There is also an intermediate (halfway) space on the board where you are suppose to kiss each other passionately for five minutes or so.

The only real complaint I have about this game as a true negative is that many of the playable cards are very similar to one another. Most of the Body Language and Sensuality cards are either kissing your partner or giving an erotic massage. After a while, you get bored just kissing and caressing and want to just get to it. As a result, I highly recommend either discarding a number of the redundant cards or playing with a pair of dice so you skip over the yellow and red cards more often. Another complaint I have is not necessarily bad but not good either - it's specifically made for only two players. Probably 99% of the people who buy Lust! will be married couples, but if you're interested in having more than two players, the wording of the game cards and lack of extra game pieces means you'll have to improvise your own solutions if you want to play with others. Finally, the only other complaint I have is that a number of the cards (see above) require that the two partners have known each other for at least six months. Some of the Romance cards ask one of you to recall the most recent instance of something or reminisce about the best time you did whatever. For very new couples, some of these cards will not be very flattering for their relationship. Therefore, I recommend Lust! for couples who have been together at least six months or couples who are having trouble communicating their desires or fetishes (ie spanking, role-playing, bondage, oral sex, or male penetration).
Experience
Sadly, we only used Lust! a few times before we got bored of it. We are at a juncture in our relationship where if we want to use a sex toy or have an erotic massage, we just do it without taking the time to get out the board and set up all of the pieces. However, the last time we used Lust! was Valentine's day where we took the whole night to have fun. We opened a bottle of champagne, ate strawberries, and played a couple of sexy games to prolong the evening - Lust! was one of those games. As long as you don't mind spending a lot of time kissing and massaging, then Lust! is a inconspicuous introduction into temporary orgasm denial. Haha!
Follow-up commentary
We still use Lust! on a rare occasion for a lot of foreplay, but we had to add a few modifications to spice up some of the cards (like talking dirty) that are kissing or massage heavy.
