Pleasure Island is a board game for couples. It takes a surprisingly long amount of time, but it is time well spent, as you will have a lot of fun while you make your way across the island. If you are looking for a way to add a little fun to your evening, Pleasure Island is an excellent option.

The object of the game is to be the first one to make your way from your ship to the X, which should probably be an O since that's the treasure you will be finding. Each player gets a token and rolls the die to move ahead. Along the way, you will encounter spaces that give you instructions such as "Give a neck and shoulder massage" or "Tease your shipmate below the waist". These spaces give you a chance to get warmed up. The later spaces require you to draw one of two types of cards, "Pleasure Chest" cards or "Prisoner of Love" cards. The Pleasure Chest Cards involve some role play or other sexy acts, while Prisoner of Love cards usually involve some sort of light bondage. Some cards also call for whipped cream or chocolate, so you may want to read over them to make sure you are fully prepared for what you may encounter.

The box is pretty small, but is amazingly well-made; at least as good as any other board game that you can buy. It is also relatively small, and could fit easily into your luggage if you want something fun to do on vacation.

It comes with the game board, two game tokens, one die, 22 Pleasure Chest cards, and 22 Prisoner of Love cards. Both the box and board are glossy and made of sturdy cardboard. The cards are a nice, firm, and glossy, so you don't have to worry about them tearing easily or becoming dirty. Due to their coating, you can easily wipe them off if you get some lube or chocolate on them.

My wife and I loved this game. The early spaces are great for foreplay and the later spaces make you draw a lot of cards, leading to a variety of fun events. We played for about an hour, but were rushing because we just couldn't wait any longer. I could easily see this game lasting a few hours. The only negative comment I have is that some of the cards are too repetitive. We drew three cards in a row that called for spanking. While that is a lot of fun, a little more variety would be even better.

I think it is also worth noting that when we first opened it, my wife was a little turned off by the smell of the packaging. She described it as a "cheap chemical smell". I think that this will probably be fine if we let the box air out a bit.
