Pleasure island - adult game discontinued by Creative Conceptions - review by ~LaUr3n~

YOU HAVE GOT TO GET THIS! This is my favorite sexual board game and my partners too. In fact he requests this more than any piece of lingerie, sex toy, porn, etc to share with me. I have bought it for many friends and they rave about it too. I swear I have started a chain web of passing on the amazingness of this game. That's right. I take credit. It's like my gift to the world-pass it forward. It is a great example of "Don't judge a book by its cover!". With a silly name and a super cheap price, one might not expect much, but you and your partner will be pleasantly surprised. I pretty much guarantee it.

The game is mostly geared towards a heterosexual couple, who is eager and willing to explore things like: bondage, romance, food play, kinkiness, dominance, fantasy, light fetishes, and role playing. The cards that depict these things can easily be changed to cater to a homosexual couple or be excluded for participants not comfortable with some of the cards (for instance toe-sucking was removed for round 1). It's also very durable and a great size. I imagine we will be playing this game til we need hip replacements.

There are no silly rules to Pleasure Island. You and your partner move their playing pieces through a trail on the game board. As you can land on different squares you follow the directions clearly listed on them. Some direct you to choose one of two cards: Prisoner of Love or Pleasure Chest. The game squares start off with appropriate things that lead to foreplay. I DARE you to get to the finish square without having sex...at least three times. The game can last as long as you want really. You can choose to end the first time you get something that leads to sex of you can tease and hold of until the end. The game probably takes about an hour, but we have been known to last up to three in some cases.

I was VERY pleased with the quality of this. The cardboard of the board is thicker than that of my latest addition to my Monopoly collection. The graphic aren't anything special but they aren't caveman like either. The cards are made well and are easy to read and understand. The game comes with two game pieces (one green, one red), 22 Pleasure Chest cards, 22 Prisoner of Love cards. You will need some props though. Things like floggers, lubricant, chocolate, handcuffs, etc. might be needed but you can get creative. We were able to improvise for anything we didn't have. The size is also great. It is about half the size of a game board like Monopoly or Sorry has, so not a lot of space is needed.

This game is pretty much guaranteed to make a couple closer, help them explore things that didn't know would be fun or that they would enjoy, and to be arousing. It is so much fun and I learn about my partner and myself each time we play. It never gets old because each game plays differently.

There were only a few cards we weren't thrilled about. It's no big deal. jsut modify it or choose a different card! No harm no foul.
