A Fun Ride for Both

If you're not sure whether or not prostate massagers are right for you, this versatile toy is a great fit that can be used for g-spot or p-spot stimulation.
Published:
Pros
Can be used for p-spot and g-spot stimulation, especially for beginners to p-spot stimulation.
Cons
Might not be big enough for more "intermediate" prostate massage use.

Use

We purchased the Nexus G-Rider to use as our first prostate massager. The boy actually picked this one out in case he decided he had no interest in prostate massage, in which case I could always use it as a g-spot vibrator. Much to our pleasure, the G-Rider has performed extremely well to both uses.

After eagerly opening our package, we admired the smooth, almost velvety texture and put it straight to use. First we used it for clitoral stimulation, experimenting with the fun and varied different vibration patterns. I couldn't wait to slip it in vaginally. However, insertion was a little bit uncomfortable, as I am a very petite woman, and the curves were a little steep and pushed up against my pubic bone. Once the toy was fully inserted, though, it was very comfortable, and the curved head found my g-spot right away. The head of the G-Rider hit my g-spot perfectly while the nubbed end stimulated my clit externally as well. I orgasmed within a couple of minutes of my partner gently pumping the toy.

Next we began our first experiment in anal play on his end. After inserting a finger, then two, with much lube, he was ready to take the G-Rider. As a beginner, he accommodated the toy quite easily, and even asked, "Is that it?" when it was in all the way. But the real fun started when I turned on the vibrations. The shape and firmness of the G-Rider is very well suited to transmit vibrations to the prostrate, as evidenced by the way his eyes rolled back into his head once I turned it on. He enjoyed receiving head while the G-Rider pressed on his prostate. We did observe, however, that the toy does not stay in very well during intercourse, since it is not particularly wide.

Material / Texture

The 100% silicone of the G-Rider makes for a firm toy with a velvety finish. It holds warmth very well after being dipped in hot water for a minute or two. This also makes it very easy to sanitize, by simply removing the bullet and immersing in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. The material had no noticeable odor or taste. Since it is silicone, the G-rider is not compatible with silicone-based lubes.

Design / Shape / Size

We picked out this toy because it was not realistic looking at all, and indeed its flowing shape is not phallic at all. As a beginner prostate massage toy, the size was nice and non-intimidating. However, as we have have further experimented with this toy, we believe that it might not be long enough to directly hit the prostate. It may be noted though, that he is a very tall guy with a large frame, so all users might not have the same experience.

Performance

The multiple vibration patterns are a major plus for this toy. The 5 settings, including rollercoaster, escalating, and stop-and-start "tease" patterns definitely keep things interesting.

Again, this was the first toy we ever purchased for prostate stimulation, so as a beginner toy, it was great for an introduction to prostate massage. But eventually, one might want to move up to bigger models, for which case the G-rider can take over as a g-spot vibrator instead!
    • Easy to use
    • Lots of variety in function
    • Multiple settings

Care and Maintenance

The G-rider was very easy to clean as the vibrating part pops out, leaving the silicone portion free to be washed with soap and water or boiled. You should only use water-based lubes with this toy, and a thicker anal lube might be helpful for prostate massage.

Follow-up commentary
The G-rider still works great as a prostate messager. However, the batteries run out pretty quickly (it takes 1 AAA), and it's very annoying to remove it from the toy. I had to use a pair of tweezers to get it out.

Can anyone tell me if this is better for prostate stimulation than the G Play large? If not, I think I will just go with the G Play large for the sake of compactness.
