MGX classic - prostate massager discontinued by Aneros - review by heydude

This is the first sex toy I had ever bought. I'm not quite sure how I stumbled onto this product. Perhaps it was good luck, because Aneros has a strong online community and detailed wiki page. With all of this knowledge available, large enough to fill a library, it was easy to make the MGX my first purchase.

The first thing I took notice when I received the MGX in the mail was the unique design of the product. The unique curvature, designed specifically to massage the prostate. Next was the hardness of the product. Of course, being a complete noobie, I wasn't completely sure what everything I was seeing meant.

After close examination it was finally time to give this thing a shot. And it was cold. I later found that warming this thing up requires more than running in the sink for a little while. Since the heat dissipates quickly, the hard plastic really needs to be submerged in hot water for a substantial amount of time.

Okay, back to the first try. After just letting the MGX warm up inside, I started to enjoy the massage. The really neat thing about this product is that it's mostly hands-free. All it requires for movement are muscle contractions. Even though it doesn't look like there is much movement going on, it feels like a lot.

However, despite the comfortable massage. I came across a flaw in the design of the product. The very aggressively designed perineum tab. Despite its best intention, it doesn't do much to stimulate the perineum. Instead it can be just be uncomfortable after some time. I found myself taking bits of tissue and using them as cushioning.

After using the product, the clean up was an absolute breeze. Since it's made of a hard non-porous plastic, all that was needed was a nice scrubbing with some anti-bacterial soap.

While I never reached the orgasmic state often brought up on the Aneros site, I did feel great using the MGX. Despite the MGX being the model advertised for new users, it's actually quite more advanced. It encourages more personal growth and understanding. Most importantly requires much patience.

The elusive “Super Orgasm” (a term often used on the Aneros site) may not come on the first try or even the 20th time. But after each use, there was something new and enjoyable about the product. So it was pretty good for my first purchase.
