I bought this little toy as a gateway toy to getting my husband into anal toys. Stimulating his prostate results in a very good orgasm; but my fingers are a little too short, and I hate having to cut my nails off for playtime.

The pleasure tower|Pure white pleasure tower is fun. Both of us have played with it, and it certainly adds extra spice to intercourse, as both a dildo during anal sex, and as anal stimulation during vaginal intercourse for me and oral sex for him. That being said, it really lacks a few features I will look for next time I buy a similar toy.

My husband is a big guy: 6’4”. While the pleasure tower might be a great length for a smaller man, it is almost too short for him. With no handle on the end, I can dig my fingernails into the end for traction to get an extra inch, but any further is a chance no one should really take.

The material of the pleasure tower is a synthetic rubber. It is very easy to clean the length of the toy using a mild soap, or preferably a sex toy cleaner. However, it must be thoroughly cleaned, and is not a toy you might wish to share if you are not in a monogamous relationship. At the base of the toy, the solid white rubber outer layer wraps around a clear rubber inner core. The layers are not sealed together. On squeezing the outer layer, a gap appears between the layers. I let the toy soak in soapy water and then spray with a toy cleaner and allow it to dry thoroughly before putting it away. But I would be more sure that it was sanitary if it was a solid piece.

Another aspect of the synthetic rubber is the smell. I have had the toy for more than six months, I have cleaned it many times, and it still stinks of rubber. I used it recently, and after cleaning it thoroughly, I was allowing it to dry on the shelf by the sink. When I leaned over to brush my teeth, the smell was so bad I moved to the other bathroom to finish brushing. Many rubber products (such as foam mattress toppers) lose their rubber smell with time, but I think it’s a permanent feature of the pleasure tower.

A positive feature is that the pleasure tower is that it does not look like a penis, which is partly why I chose it, it was a feature I knew my husband would appreciate. On the downside, it is floppy, and does not apply as much pressure on the prostate as I would like. It was a decent starter to get my husband comfortable with the idea of prostate-stimulating sex toys. However, I think the next one I will buy will be firmer, and curved to more efficiently rub the prostate. I will also look for something with a handle and a bit longer in length.
