Though this toy is advertised and marketed as an anal toy, it is great for vaginal penetration if you are looking for something smaller with a soft texture that is not shaped like a penis.
This toy is the right size to give you that "full" feeling without causing any pain; its jelly texture means it will mold to your shape but still have a comfortable hardness.

It is definitely recommended to use a condom with this toy, especially because it is so versatile and can be used anally. However, I would not suggest this toy as a first timer's toy for anal penetration because while it isn't gigantic, and it is tapered at the top, it is still fairly large for an anus that hasn't been penetrated before. Also, because of its texture it might buckle if forced into a tight hole.

The material has a nice squish factor, it flops around if you want it to but it is firm enough for vaginal penetration with one hand. I cannot say the same about anal penetration, especially for first timers.

Upon opening the box, the toy had a little bit of a grape smell, but I haven't smelled it since use (I'd assume it smells like condoms now!).

The squishiness of the jelly means it fits comfortably in a vagina and does not cause pain if you squeeze down on it.

I love the design of the Smooth Tool because it is not penis shaped! Nothing against penises but sometimes I want to feel full with the smoothness a shapely penis cannot provide. This is not the biggest toy in the land, but that is great because not all vaginas welcome large sizes comfortably. It worked great for me because I like to feel full without feeling like I may burst.
Though not tiny, this toy could be packed away easily for travel, though it may not be as easy to carry around in a briefcase or purse.

Because the toy is not shaped like a realistic penis it is ideal for people looking for penetration, but not a penis. Men who may be anxious (like my partner was) about being penetrated, may feel better about it when the object is not so specifically penis shaped.

I thought this toy did just fine when I used it in conjunction with my vibrator for vaginal play. It was just the right size, and the smoothness was great.

It did not work out as well when my partner and I decided to do a little role reversal and I attempted to penetrate him anally. We learned quickly that this toy was just too big and flexy for a first timer like him. Though I am sure we could have forced a more rigid toy into him (though we wouldn't have done so because it would have hurt him) the Smooth toy bent and buckled which made it even trickier.

This toy, since it is great for vaginal or anal play, should always be used with a condom. This makes clean up super easy because you can just take the condom off, rinse the toy with soap and water, dry it off, and store it.

I suggest using condoms also because then you can clean your toy with whatever soap you have around and not worry about residue upsetting your body.

If you don't use condoms with this toy you should definitely clean it with toy cleaner or make sure to rinse it extra carefully.

The package was a bit bigger than I thought it needed to be, meaning it had to be shipped in a big box. However, the packaging was non body specific (except where it mentioned it was an anal toy) and does not have any offensive graphics which is important to me.
