The back end adventure is more suited to those with some anal play experience. I don't personally feel that it would make a very good beginners toy, due to the size, and the bluntness of the toy. A beginner would be more suited to a more tapered end, but for an intermediate person, it would be a great intro to new textures and sensations. I believe both men and women could enjoy it, as long as they have used other anal toys, especially smaller glass plugs before.

I was pleased with the glass, it arrived perfect, no cracks or chips. It's very sturdy, as it has some bumps here and there and had no damage. Glass toy often feels larger than it is, in my honest opinion. Unlike other toys of different, softer materials, you will feel every inch and detail of this toy. There is no give, no play with it... It is a very rigid material, which is why I suggest that people looking at this toy experiment with smaller glass pieces before jumping straight into this one.

The ribbing, I'm personally not a fan of, is a very unique texture. If you find you enjoy the sensations that other ribbed toys give, then this one will not disappoint. The ridges are very easily felt and give a lot of sensations. I didn't think when getting this toy that they would be that noticeable, but trust me, they are!

The end of this toy is very blunt and quickly goes into the largest part of the toy. It is the number one reason I would not recommend the toy to a beginner but to an advanced user. I personally found it awkward to insert, as it does not have hardly any taper to it at all. Also, the handle made it awkward as well. The thin loop did not give me much control over the toy and is basically all you have to hold once it's fully inserted.

This toy in definitely better for couples than solo play, due to some insertion troubles and the handle. I found it easier to have someone else manipulating it or using it on my partner, rather than I did try to use it on myself. Still, I personally had troubles using it on my partner, again. The toy itself is a beautiful piece of cobalt blue glass, but I feel the design could have been done better, with just a few minor changes.

For the most part, this toy is simple to clean, but I would caution to pay extra attention to the grooves. They can easily keep bacteria if not properly cleaned. For this reason, I usually hand wash it and then place it in the dishwasher on my sanitize cycle. It could also be boiled, or cleaned with any cleaning product one would have available. It can attract lint, and as it is glass I keep it stored in a velvet pouch, which one did come with the toy when I purchased it.

Packaging was minimal, a velvet pouch and the toy were wrapped in bubble wrap and sent in a brown cardboard box with the packing slip. There are no directions, and no real packaging, so I highly recommend sanitizing the product before first use.
