This toy isn't for those who are just getting into anal play; if you are new to anal play and want a glass toy, I would recommend the Amethyst instead. You can see the two side by side below:



The reason is this toy is a bit wider and does not have a gradual insertion with the way the tip of the toy is designed. We had done some foreplay with other toys and fingers before we used this toy, and my wife still found the insertion a bit unpleasant due to how quickly it expands. She really enjoyed the toy once it was inserted. The loop handle made it very easy to manipulate/pull/push while it was inserted... and the ridges added an interesting sensation as it was moved in and out. We never pulled it fully out and put it back in during use due to the abrupt insertion shape. Using the toy inserted anally while we had sex was really pleasant for us both as well.

The toy is glass, which makes it easy to use with temperature play if you are careful. Additionally, can be fully sterilized which is a definite plus when considering anal toys. We cleaned it with hot water, and before use, we used rubbing alcohol and hot water to sterilize it. It is reasonably easy to clean even with the ridges due to the non-porous nature of the glass. Do be careful to inspect the toy carefully before each use as it is made of glass, and you don't want to use it in the event any bit of it is chipped, cracked, etc. I would store it back in its bag w/ the bubble wrap that it came with.

If you're looking for an intermediate to advanced anal probe toy, this is a good option and for the price definitely worth the cost.
