Backdoor Plug

This is a plug for beginners. For someone who has never had anything more than a finger in their ass, this is the plug to try out and see how you like the stimulation. Advanced users will probably be very bored with this item. For those skilled with anal play, you can probably find a lot of better items out there to stimulate yourself. This one tends to fall flat when it comes to advanced play.

Use

The backend starter is really good if you are wanting to try out anal for the first time. It's relatively small and easy to insert. I think it's a good one for beginners to look into. One caution I have is that the base of the plug worries me about being slightly too small and soft. If you aren't careful, I think you could lose it inside you during anal play.

Material / Texture

This is a TPR toy. It's smooth with little in the way of smell. It is somewhat squishy to the touch, though not overly so. There is really no texture, which isn't something you need in a butt plug, to begin with. Overall I feel that it's a decent material. Not outstanding, but not bad by any means.

Design / Shape / Size

Overall I suppose the design is okay for beginners. It's not really thick so it shouldn't hurt anyone going in. It is big enough that you can feel it when inside you, though that is really all I can say about it. Generally, though it did what it was supposed to do. No extra frills or anything, but it functioned as it should.

Performance

I didn't really like the base. The concern of it slipping fully up inside me sort of ruined the experience with it. I could feel it pressing inside me, but it wasn't really high on the stimulation scale.

Care and Maintenance

This is a TPR item. That means you need warm water to clean it, add to that some mild soap and toy cleaner and you should be good to go. If you intend to swap it between partners, you should use a condom. Given that it is a smooth toy, it is super easy to clean. No difficult nooks or crannies to try and rinse out like some other toys have.

For storage, mine came in a small plastic bag, and that seems more than adequate for the task. Especially to help keep it from coming into contact with other toys. Because it's TPR, it can work with silicone or water-based lubricants. However given the nature of this plug, you will probably be tempted to use it in conjunction with other toys. So make sure your lube is compatible with all of them. I advise sticking to water-based alone to help with this.
