Better Than Nothing, I Guess

This toy, to me and my female partner, was an overall flop. We were both disappointed in the size and unnatural shape of the Love Rider. The suction cup wouldn't stick to any surface for more than a couple seconds and not at all during use. While it fit into our harness, it was just a subpar experience overall.

Use

I've been looking for a suction-cupped dildo for a while now and hoped that this would be the one. I was wrong: the suction cup barely stuck to my bathtub and not at all to my glass shower walls. It stayed attached at first, but once I went to insert it into me, it kept popping off of the tub. I tried using it just by hand, but it wasn't what I wanted or was in the mood for, so I ended up stopping and switching to a completely different toy. Talk about disappointment.

Material / Texture

The silicone material of the Love Rider is smooth and silky to the touch. The texture isn't sticky at all, even with water- or silicone-based lubes applied to it, but it is not very realistic-feeling either. I didn't taste the toy, but the smell wasn't too off-putting. The little nubs on the tip of the toy didn't do much for me, but my female partner seemed to enjoy them when we used the toy in a harness.

Design / Shape / Size

The size of this toy was a little on the small side to me: it's only 6" worth of insertable length and it's only 4 3/4" around. I don't mind the shorter length, but I prefer a toy with a little bit more girth. I suppose it all depends on what you are used to receiving from your partner, or what toys you are used to using.

It doesn't look realistic at all; I've never seen a penis look like that before, and if I did I would be a little worried! I would say that this toy is suitable for travel since there aren't any buttons or anything that could accidentally get pushed (trust me, there's nothing worse than hearing your vibrator start buzzing in the luggage bin above you on an airplane...), but it's not very discreet either.

Performance

As I said up in the "use" section, the suction cup did not perform up to standards at all. I don't even feel like it was just my standards; I don't feel like anyone would be satisfied with something that doesn't actually suction to anything. My bathtub is porcelain and it stuck there only until I went to use it; my shower walls are glass and it wouldn't stick to them at all.

When we used it with our O-ring harness, my female partner seemed to enjoy it but she wasn't really all that blown away. It worked well within the harness itself, but I doubt that we will get much use out of it as we have larger toys that we prefer to use.

Care and Maintenance

Silicone is very easy to care for. I usually boil my silicone toys for a couple of minutes. You can also wash them in the dishwasher, but I always felt weird about having my toys and my dishes in the same space. I store mine in the same duffel bag where I keep the rest of my toys. If I don't have time to boil them, I use a toy cleaning spray that is safe to be used with silicone. We only have silicone-based lubricants, and since neither of us do anal, we rarely need to use any lube at all.

Packaging

This toy came in a simple cardboard box a little bit bigger than the toy itself. The instructions weren't really needed, as this isn't battery-operated or hard to figure out. I wouldn't use the box as storage or as a gift box, as it wasn't very sturdy.

Thanks for the review! It might be worth noting that silicone-baed lubes generally aren't recommended for silicone toys since they can degrade. Just worth a heads-up in case anyone who doesn't know is reading

Thanks for reminding them PassionCpl I said that all we had was silicone based lubes, but I guess I forgot to put not to use it very frequently.
