Black magic ribbed vibe - textured classic vibrator discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Omakosuri

This toy, along with its other Black Magic siblings, is a wonderful and playful addition to any toybox collection. I find that this is a great 'teaser toy', as each ribbed section gives a good stopping point before inserting more. Though we primarily use this as a vaginal toy, the Black Magic Ribbed Vibe would be a great anal toy for solo and couple play! The best part about this toy, however, is that it's waterproof, making it great for the shower. All-around it is a great, multifunctional toy that you will not regret adding to your arsenal. Easy to clean, store, and use, it's a wonderful go-to toy for those spontaneous intimate moments~

The reason I continue to come back time and time again (this is my FIFTH Black Magic toy!) is that wonderful Velvet-Touch Texture! Easy to clean, easy to store, and easy to use, it makes for a wonderful any-time toy that can be tossed into a bag or drawer without worry. I have never had any issue with my Black Magic toys attracting excess dust or lint, and they're all so easy to clean I just wipe them down quick with some Toy Wipes and toss them away until next time. The Ribbed Vibe is no exception, and it's smooth yet variable surface means that there are no nooks or crannies to get gunked up during use. This is a great beginners toy simply because of how easy it is to care for, and it can also be used with many types of lubricant.

The design of this toy is absolutely perfect for a multifunctional yet simple piece. The vibrating function allows for great direct clitoral stimulation, while the fun bumpy twist on a classic dildo shape makes it a wonderful vaginal toy. Best still, is that the gently increasing size and ridges make it a great build-up toy for anal practice. It is the perfect size for both newbies and pros, especially with the varied size that changes gradually from tip to base. Quiet, easy to hold onto, and super effortless to store, it's a wonderful choice for all who want a toy that can be used for a little bit of anything, no matter what you're in the mood for.

This toy, like most other vibrators, uses a dial on the bottom of the base to control the speed and intensity of the vibrations. Though a little hard to turn with slippery or wet hands, it does just fine and never gives me a fight. The vibrations it offers are not the most intense, as a few of my other Black Magic toys are a bit moreso in that area, but it works great regardless and always gets the job done. As with all the others in the collection, the Ribbed Vibe is waterproof and does great in the shower, as I'm sure it would too in the tub or pool. It runs off of one single AA battery, which isn't too bad in my own opinion, as most take two that are of the same size.

As with all my other toys, I store this one in a box along with all the others, though it travels throughout the house from time to time with ease. I use wipes to clean it up 99% of the time, and wash it by hand with some soap and water when I feel it needs a good scrubbing, which isn't often. Though I only use water-based lubricants, this toy is plastic and thus is good with all types of lube, making it great for all types of users. The velvety texture makes for a great slick movement and never catches on your skin when dry like other 'shiny' plastic toys will.
