Bling for the butt.

Very pretty gem, and the ball feels great. However, the material structure leaves questions about how long this will work before it breaks. The short neck made it feel like it was pinching my sphincter. Plus, the small base, nearly sent me to the ER (I caught it in time). All in all, it's a great idea, with large room for improvement.

Use

This gorgeous plug is fairly easy to pop in, with a decent amount of water-based lube (silicone lube or oil can damage the silicone coating). Since it has a short neck, it sits very snug to the sphincter. The head of the plug is hollow and has a ball that rolls around. If you wiggle your hips, you can feel the ball's subtle vibrations.

*Make sure the measurements of the base are safe for your body. I almost lost this pretty little jewel up my butt. True story.

Material / Texture

The packaging boasts that it is 100% silicone. Yeah, my aunt fanny! This plug is coated in a super thin silicone and I'm assuming the inner structure is plastic. Silicone has an Eden safety rating of 10. The jewel itself is made of plastic. It's similar to the jewels you see on the "Bedazzle" commercials, only larger. Plastic has an Eden safety rating of 8.

Now for the smell. This--thing--reeks! I tried everything I could think of to get the smell to diminish. I washed it with soap and water, then toy cleaner and water, used a gentle tooth brush (gently because of the seams on the plug), coated it in a cornstarch paste for 15-30 mins. Nothing worked. The packaging has the same strong smell. The smell is like the stinkiest pool toy ever created. No taste, though.

The plug is very firm, with zero give. It has a decent amount of drag, but once I coated it in Maximus water-based lube, it was fine. There are three seams on the plug, that weren't noticeable when inserting or while wearing it.

Design / Shape / Size

The shape of this plug is that of an enlarged acorn, stuck to a diamond push pin. Or at least that's what it felt like for me. The length of the entire plug is 3 inches. The head of the plug is 1 3/4 inches length and the circumference is 4 1/8 inches. The neck is 1 1/4 inches in circumference and 1 1/8 inches in length. The base is an inch in diameter and 1/4 of an inch tall. I didn't find the design to particularly comfortable. It felt like it was pinching my sphincter whenever I'd move. I didn't use the plug during sex, but as butt jewelry, a warm up, and I tried to wear it long term (more than 30 mins). I could only wear it for about ten minutes. Even then, my butt hole rejoiced at its freedom. The ball in the plug was nice though. I could only slightly hear it, when I "backed that ass up". I wish more plugs had this feature.

Performance

The first time I wore this plug, it was painful. I tried to feel for the vibrations and I couldn't get past the pain. The only reason I tried it again, was so that my review would be thorough. I'm glad I did, because I enjoyed it more the second time around. I could feel the vibrations, and the jewel was a real turn on. I like to wear plugs for a long time, and this plug is definitely not good for that. Maybe if the neck were longer it would more comfortable.

As I stated before, this plug stinks to high heaven. Even now, it's sitting next to me and I can smell it. Very new plasticy/rubbery smell. Very over powering. The plug, the storage bag, the packaging, even the little pamphlet, all stink.

*I'm glad I just did the "cons" for this toy, because it reminded me how I almost lost this little gem. I don't know if I was having a loose butt day, or what, but I almost lost this plug. I barely caught it, before it started a long journey to "Painsville". Not something to be taken lightly.

**Now that I'm looking the plug closely, I can see that the silicone is not really attached to the plug. it's more of a covering. If I were to pinch the tip, it would easily slide off. I don't plan on using this plug again, because of how tightly it gripped my sphincter, the fact I almost lost it, and because of how potentially unsafe it is. I am, however, now keeping my eyes peeled for more plugs with a ball rolling around in it.

Care and Maintenance

The pamphlet that comes with the toy says to clean it with anti-bacterial soap. They say to NOT clean it with alcohol based, acetone-based, or petrol-based cleaning products. I cleaned it with anti-bacterial soap and a soft tooth brush, because the seams may hold bodily excretions. I had to it very carefully because the silicone covering is wafer thin and I didn't want to wear down the glue that may be holding the gem in place.

The plug comes with a small, black, drawstring bag. On it is what is supposed to look like a wax stamping of the letter X. It's not raised, so no worries about it falling off.
    • Easy to store
    • High maintenance

Packaging

The packaging is not discreet at all. Plug is clearly visible, and there are two topless chicks on both ends of the box. The back has a small mission statement and three sentence summary of the product, in six different languages. The pamphlet that comes with it has another mission statement and instructions in seventeen languages. This includes the product characteristics, recommendations (like using water-based lubricant), cleaning and care, warnings, advice of non-liability and warranty. The packaging is recyclable.

Follow-up commentary
After I wrote this review, I performed a few tests on the plug. I knew I wasn't going to use it again because of how potentially unsafe it was. Well, first I barely had to use my fingernail to pry the "silicone" covering off the head. After that I used three matches to do a flame test. It failed. The covering bubbled and melted. I liked the idea of the design, the jewel and ball, but this was like a rough draft. I hope there are more plugs made with the ball and jewel, but with better material and safer shape.

"The ball in the plug was nice though. I could only slightly hear it, when I "backed that ass up"." That was the best part.

Thanks for the review and awesome pictures. The bedazzled butthole look is really appealing but it's too bad that it's not very functional.
