Classic butt plug medium - butt plug discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by ~LaUr3n~

Now that I am back into the swing of things regarding anal play, I decided to get another plug that would stay in during sex. Almost all of mine slip out at one point or another because of their design. This plug is perfect for that and the size makes me feel full but not stretched. I recommend this to experienced anal players, but not the most advanced. It is slightly smaller than the Crystal Jellies Butt Plug for comparison. It also has a softer core, making it not seem as big. The extra give makes it comfortable to insert and wear but it does take working up to for most.

The Classic Butt Plug-Medium is made of smooth rubber and sil-a-gel. It is Doc Johnson's all new anti-bacterial, non-toxic formula that is latex and cadmium free. The outside shell and base is a smooth firmer rubber, while the inside is filled with the softer sil-a-gel. This is what creates the give and plushness to the toy. It has the usual Doc Johnson berry smell although it isn't as strong as it is with other toys of theirs. Perhaps they decreased this with the new formula. Rubber is extremely porous and needs to be used with a condom to prevent bacteria from harboring. I use this plug with a condom every single time. It fits nicely over the base.

This plug has the classic elongated spade shape. It is 5 1/2" from base to tip and about 4 1/2" of that is insertable. The max circumference of the bulb is 5 1/4" (1 5/8" in diameter). This is my max when it comes to anal toys (but hurts if I'm not warmed up). Even 1 3/4" is too big for me. My partner is larger than both but a real penis is much different than toys. The neck dropping off to a considerably smaller diameter is a key part of this plug's design. The neck is almost an inch long and is 2 /3" around. This makes it comfortable to wear during sex. The base however is 2" x 3" making it much too big to fit comfortably between the cheeks for a long period of time-but it is great for doggy style!

This isn't discreet at all. Since the shape is so classic, there is no question this is a butt plug. It isn't the worst thing for travel, but the material catches lint and dust so be sure to put it in a plastic bag or package.

This is not a plug I can really go to all the time. I have to have been playing anally recently to be able to take this but it is great for sex. I can wear this during vaginal sex and then finish. My partner can then proceed to anal sex and finish himself while I have a second orgasm. It doesn't hurt as long as I have been playing previously and am relaxed. It doesn't slip out during sex so there is no distraction or worry about cleanup. Not the greatest for extended play because of the base, but it is a good plug overall.

I always wear a condom with this and tie it at the end so it does not get lost inside me. If you don't use a condom be sure to rinse before and after use and wash with soap and warm water. I highly discourage sharing if you are not using a condom. To store just use the package it comes in or keep it in a plastic bag away from other toys.

Make sure to use lots of anal lubricant with this. There would be no way I would be able to use this without anal lubricant, plenty of it, relaxation, and patience. Never force a plug inside you and stop immediately if there is pain.

The packaging is just a simple snap to close plastic case formed around the toy. Warranty information is on the back, but not much else in terms of direction. Made in the USA!

I am giving this plug 4 stars. The dock of a star is mostly because of the material and berry smell. I love that if I'm able to take this, it works well for sex and doesn't slip out. It isn't the best size for me still. I'll need to go down just a bit to have a plug that can be used without all the warm-up that this one needs. Of course others my have an easier or harder time. Everyone is different.
