Excellent, and Unusual, Prostate Stimulator

How well this works for someone will depend, more than with most prostate toys, on how well it fits their internal anatomy. But if it fits right, then it can provide amazing pleasure.

Use

I'm sure there are other ways it could be used, but The Duke is clearly intended for prostate stimulation. A lot seems to depend, with such toys, upon how well it fits one's internal anatomy. But it works for me, and it works very well indeed.

Material / Texture

The Duke is made from a very soft silicone, which makes it very comfortable for anal use. It's a bit "squishy", too, which makes it a bit easier to insert than it might have been if it were harder. The soft material doesn't transmit vibration as well as a harder one would, though, so the vibrations are not as strong with The Duke as with some other prostate vibrators I have used.

Since the toy is silicone, it should not be used with silicone-based lubes, which could melt the material and make it sticky.

Design / Shape / Size

The key feature of The Duke is obviously its unusual shape. As mentioned above, your mileage may vary, due to differences in internal anatomy, but it works very well for me. The long extension at the end of the toy gives a nice feeling of fullness, compared to other prostate toys I've used, and there's a kind of "spring" effect tatt helps to "push" the bulge at the center of the toy up into the prostate. This is where internal anatomy will matter most: Just where that bulge tends to get you. In my case, it sits right at the prostate, and "cups" it quite wonderfully, so that the vibration is delivered right where it needs to be. There's also what's described as a perineum stimulator, but it's probably better to think of it more as a flange that keeps The Duke from being inserted too far. Because the material is so soft, not much in the way of vibration gets through the flange, and it doesn't put much pressure on the perineum. That said, it's not unpleasant. It's just not what you are going to notice.

Because of the odd shape, it took me a bit of practice to figure out how best to insert it. But it's fun practice! Basically, one needs to get the "finger" in and then, instead of just trying to push the rest in, at which angle it's too wide for comfort (for me), tilt it upwards so it enters at the narrowest point.

The vibrating mechanism is contained in the black plastic part at the base of the toy. This means that a fair bit of the vibration is delivered pretty near the bulge in the middle, which is perfect. As is fairly typical nowadays, it has a variety of settings: Three constant speeds, and three different "pulse" settings. The vibrations aren't as strong as I've felt with other toys---again, this may be because of the soft material---but they are strong enough for me, at least.

My sole complaint about The Duke is that the control mechanism, a small button the base of the vibrator, is difficult to use. When the toy is inserted, it is not easy to get at it, and if it gets covered with lube, as it inevitably will, it can be hard to activate the button. You really have to grab it from both sides to get it to work, and trying to turn it on or off can be a pain, as you have to hold it down for a second or so.

Finally, the toy is rechargeable, using a separate wall wart. I've never had a problem with it discharging during play, so long as it was properly charged when I began.

Performance

I'll say more below about my personal experience with this toy, but, overall, I am very happy I bought it. Its shape makes it a very different experience from most other prostate toys I've seen, with more of a feeling of fullness. And the vibrations are easily strong enough to get me off.

Care and Maintenance

The shape of the toy is not great for using it with "protection" that, so I tend just to clean it well with hot water and soap. The fact that you can remove the vibrating mechanism makes this fairly easy. Since the toy is made from pure silicone which, I have been told in the comments, is non-porous, it can also be sterlized.

Packaging

Packaging is fairly typical. The instructions are detailed enough. One really has to experiment with the toy to figure out what the different settings actually do, not to mention which you like.

Personal comments

How well The Duke works for you will depend, possibly more than other prostate toys, upon how it fits your internal anatomy. But, as I've mentioned, it seems almost as if it was designed for mine. It is one of my favorite toys.

Experience

When I have prostate sex with myself, I tend to use a few different toys in one session. I usually save this one for near the end, as it just wears me out.

I love the feeling of fullness I get from The Duke. The bulging part cups my prostate perfectly and provides wonderful stimulation even before I turn it on. Once it is on, it delivers adequate, if not particularly strong, vibrations right where I need them. If I'm aroused enough, I can come just from inserting it, and I will typically go through the cycle of settings at least once, coming differently with each one. As I get more aroused, and my prostate becomes more and more sensitive, the pressure the bulb puts on it becomes exquisite, and I can find myself coming over and over again, at minute intervals or so.

One thing I've been meaning to try, and will try for the follow-up, is just wearing The Duke, like a butt-plug, under clothes. It doesn't have that sort of shape, but it seems to stay in well enough for this to work, and I'm guessing that movement will cause it to do nice things.
