The main use for the Flexihead Curve is for anal stimulation. It is sold as a butt plug, which is a toy meant to be inserted anally and left inside, but in reality it's more of an anal probe than a plug. The base is large and heavy, making it not ideal to be left inside for prolonged periods.

Because of the large base, this is entirely anal safe. The base prevents it from slipping inside of you and getting lost. The large, heavy base does make it what makes it hard to wear around, and the round shape would not be comfortable to walk with in your pants. The curve in this toy would make it great for prostate stimulation.

While this is great for anal play, it's equally as stellar for vaginal insertion. The smooth shaft and curve feel great inserted, and the same curve that's good for prostate play makes it good for g-spot play. The base also makes it great to use 'cowgirl' style, with the toy on the bed or chair.

You can also use this toy for external stimulation, but it's best for fairly small areas like the clitoris or nipples. The shape is all wrong for use as a full body massager.

This toy is made entirely out of plastic and silicone, two materials that are great for all users. Silicone and plastic are a step up from jelly and rubber, and they won't degrade like the cheaper materials will.

It's nonporous and body safe, meaning that it won't leak gross chemicals into your body and that bacteria can't build up inside of the material itself, but can only be found outside of the material. Plastic can be disinfected with a 10% bleach solution, and is very rigid.

Silicone is rated a 10 out of 10 on the Eden Safety scale and is also nonporous and body safe. While you can boil silicone to disinfect it, you can not boil this toy. If you plan on switching users or orifices, use the bleach method to kill germs. Silicone is very soft and flexible.

This toy has no seams or textures on the insertable portion. This makes it very easy to insert, but more advanced users or people who enjoy textures might find it to be a bit boring. This toy also has little drag, which means that lube is not a must.

The shaft of this toy is SUPER flexible, where there isn't even a problem with the motor causing parts of it to be rigid. It's also entirely silicone and not hollow. There is a g-spot tip, but because of the soft material it's not for people who like intense g-spot stimulation. The flexibility does help it to feel more realistic than firmer toys.

This toy didn't have any scent or taste out of the package, it's entirely nonporous, the material is soft and easy to use, and it has little drag. This would make it ideal for beginners, but people who have tried a lot of toys and like exciting textures might find this a bore.

The Flexihead Buttplug Curve is designed wonderfully to be ideal for many, many uses. It's really one of the best designed toys I've used, and I've used quite a few in the year and a half I've been reviewing toys.

This toy is essentially a shaft on top of a wide base. The shaft doesn't look super phallic, but does have a noticeable head. The total design reminds me of one of those toys that is bottom heavy and bounces back up every time you knock it down.


While you get that cute image out of your mind, I'll throw some statistics at you. The insertable part of this toy is just over 5 inches long, putting it similar to the average penis length. It's certainly not going to blow size queens out of the water, but if you're a fairly experienced anal user or a lady who doesn't like long toys this should be ideal.

It's also about 3.75 inches around, which is a bit thinner than the average penis. It also feels a bit thinner than it is because of the soft, smooth material. The widest part of the toy is the crest of the head and the very wide base.

This toy has a pointy tip, which is great for anal play. This makes it much easier to insert than 'blunt' anal toys, especially for people who are fairly new to anal play. It also is good for fairly pinpoint clitoral stimulation, while you can use the side of the tip for broader clitoral stimulation.

While the vibrations are about halfway between buzzy and rumbly, they're located entirely at the tip. This means that your fingers won't get numb and you can deliver the vibrations exactly where you want them. This is one of the reasons this toy is so great clitorally.

This toy is also 100% waterproof. There is an o-ring around the battery compartment, so you don't have to worry about cleaning it and it's great to use in the bath or shower.

I would recommend this to both beginners or advanced users. It has a ton of settings to play around with, and the strong setting is higher than most toys out there, while the weak setting will be good for more sensitive people. I think that everyone will appreciate the placement of the motor on this one.

This toy is super easy to care for and store. It's a bit of a lint magnet, but if you keep it in a lint-free area like a bag it should be fine to just wash after every use. I wash this toy with antibacterial toy cleaner, but soap and water or a toy wipe work just as well.

If you plan on switching users or orifices, you should disinfect this toy with a 10% bleach solution. This will kill any bacteria on the surface, preventing the spread of infection and germs. You can't boil this toy or put it into the dishwasher because of the motor and plastic parts.

I store this toy in a cool, dark place. You should avoid storing this toy in contact with other silicone toys because the two materials could react together. Similarly, this toy should not be used with silicone based lube.

The packaging for the Flexihead Curve is pretty basic, but it gets the job done. The design is a clamshell piece of plastic that snaps together. The front is clear, so you can easily see the toy, and it's got the name of the toy and the brand. There aren't any other images on the front.

The back is also clear, so you can see the other side of the toy. Around the toy, in teeny tiny text, is some basic information about the toy in 12 or so different languages. It's very hard to find the English text because it's in the middle, and it really doesn't say anything exciting. There are some instructions inside to tell you how to insert the batteries.

While the packaging is resealable, it's a bit bulky and hard to open, so I don't personally use it for storage. It's not super classy, but it wouldn't be terrible to wrap up and give as a gift.

When I accepted this toy as an assignment it had a very different product picture, but I really enjoy push assignments because they're always a surprise and I accepted it. I thought I was getting a more 'traditionally' shaped anal toy, but what I got is one of my new favorite g-spot toys.

This purple toy is a dream come true for me. It's got very strong vibrations focused entirely in the tip, I usually use it on low, but I'm a total power and girth wimp, and the smooth, flexible shaft made it a dream to thrust with. The slightly bulged head hit my g-spot with no effort at all.
