I absolutely cannot recommend putting this object in your body. Wrap it in wire and wear it as a pendant. Display it somewhere, whatever... just do not put it in your butt. Even if you're new to the whole thing. Just don't. With a larger base, and longer neck, this would be a wonderful plug for a beginner, but as is, it's just not worth the stress.

REALLY needs a larger base
The Crystal Premium Glass Plug is a well made and beautiful toy with some serious problems. It is a pretty blue borosilicate glass plug which means it's solid, smooth, durable, and sterilizable by boiling or with a bleach solution, or you can just use warm water and soap to clean it up. You can use any type of lube you prefer with it.
I own and have used a number of glass plugs, and when compared to the Sasha Grey Small Plug, who's size I like, and the Moon Shine, who's shape I like, but I have found to be too large for me, this seemed like the best of both. Small size, but pleasing shape. So, into my cart it went. Upon opening the box to take a look at it, I was really surprised by how small, indeed, how short, it actually was. But I thought nothing of it, really, and put it away, and today I decided to break it in... and welcome to my nightmare.
I used the slightest bit of silicone lube with the plug, and it went right in without a fuss. It felt a little odd, and I reasoned that it must be the shortness of the neck, and continued with my, um, process. After a minute, though, it felt as if it were coming out, so I reached down to give it a nudge... and felt the whole thing just slip. right. in. So I panicked and went right after it... compounding my problem as doing so TURNED IT COMPLETELY AROUND, so I no longer had anything to grab if I did manage to snag it. And then... it disappeared. After some frantic Googling, I was assured that yes, it would come out, and that I didn't need to visit the emergency room just yet... and the clatter of it falling into the toilet 20 minutes later was the most blessed splash I'd ever heard in my life. I guess the good news is that it didn't hurt coming out, and that's maybe thanks to the 180 that it did while on its trip...
