Get a Heart-on for your Butt

We found this was not the best toy for us. But, as I really liked the largest bead a lot, it sparked the idea that getting a teardrop or round butt plug, in a safer material may be the best choice for us. Acrylic would have been a better choice for material, and a flared base for additional safety could be added. However, the toy was cute and the handle seemed adequate, even for use by a man with very large hands.

Use

My Man bought these thinking they were a vaginal use toy. When I saw them, it was obvious to me they were an anal toy, but we're not people to waste good toys without trying them.

These beads, made of hard jelly, are heart shaped and graduated, getting larger as they approach the removal ring.

Ideally, they are to be inserted into the anus for stimulation, and some use them pulled out at the moment of Climax or in our case, when you get tired of them.

There is no flare at the base, so the person doing the inserting NEEDS to hold on tight to the heart shaped ring. Also, I assumed they were acrylic, because they are very hard; but, they are jelly, which is not my favorite material for sex toys.

These could also be used, if carefully washed, as an oral toy, for those who are into deep oral play. Again, the one inserting the toy would need to HOLD ON to the removal ring tightly!

Material / Texture

These are very hard jelly. My Man brought these home and I assumed they were acrylic. They are cool to the touch and a pretty translucent color. They have no noticeable odor, but I am not fond of jelly toys due to health concerns.

These are best for intermediate to advanced anal play users. They beads, although not large, are a long train of graduated size beads. Some may only be able to take the first few beads, which are smaller, at first.
    • Bumpy
    • Flexible
    • No odor

Design / Shape / Size

The design is whimsical, cute little hearts, building in size. My Man thought this was a vaginal toy while it was in the package (he doesn't read) and didn't realize just how flexible this toy is. They are too long and too flexible for vaginal use. We even tried them folded over, but they just flopped around and penetration, vaginally was impossible. The best bead in size is the last one near the handle/ring. The smaller beads, while cute, do nothing for stimulation for me.

While there is no flared base, the heart shaped ring is easy to hold on it, two fingered, with your thumb in the dip of the heart, as long as you wipe the lube from your hands first.
    • Discreet look/design
    • Partner play
    • Whimsical / artistic

Performance

These are not my favorite toys. They are really adorable, but due to the material and actual performance these get little use in our bedroom. They are too long to cover completely with a condom, and also the length, although perfect for some, may be too long for beginners to anal toys. However, due to the gradual size increase of the beads, some beginners may find them easier to use.

One needs to be careful while guiding them into the anus, these are very flexible and the "driver" needs to be aware of where the beads are in relation to the very tail end of the toy in the rectum, to avoid discomfort, and also, if using to retract during climax, know when his/her partner is starting to orgasm.
    • Discreet sound
    • Hard to figure out

Care and Maintenance

These beads need to be thoroughly cleansed before and after every use. I do not know if they are boilable, but we clean them with toy cleaner, then anti-bacterial soap and hot water, using alcohol to sanitize them every few uses rinsing well after. They should be thoroughly dried before being stored. A Sugar Sac or other bag storage will work well, as will sex toy chest storage. As they are long, we gently fold them over to fit into the Sugar Sac.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

My Man discarded the packaging before giving them to me as a gift, so I can't answer questions about the packaging.

Personal comments

As I said, My Man bought these thinking they were a vaginal toy. They are too flexible to penetrate the vagina and too long. We tried folding them over, for more girth and strength and they were uncomfortable. When used properly, as an anal toy, I found the entire thing a little too long for my taste. The first few beads were also too small to feel, so somehow he managed (I wasn't looking) to only insert the largest bead, and it felt great! Much better feel than the bullet shaped Crystal Coat butt plug we have. He has very large hands and had no problem holding on to the ring.
    • May spark imagination
    • Smaller beads to small for some

Experience

We had a good time with them, but it took a few tries to use them properly, and our first efforts were slightly uncomfortable (we're pretty ingenious people when it comes to sex toys.) We found only the largest bead useful for our purposes, but some may like the train of beads, and may enjoy them more than we did as a complete toy. I did have him remove them before I Climaxed, as I eventually become uncomfortable (but this is my pattern with most anal toys). Some people may want to wait until climax to slowly or quickly remove the beads one by one.

I would recommend using perhaps a female condom over them, (these are longer than male condoms) to prevent anal exposure to the materials the toy is made with.

The experience of using only the largest bead, and really liking it a lot, makes me want to purchase a round butt plug in a safer material, with no "tail" on it to irritate me. Also, something with a flared base seems more sensible.
Follow-up commentary
I KNOW these are jelly. But, we have actually found we like these more as time goes on. We have gotten more into anal toys, and although I really prefer my Plug Der Lust, My Man makes a lot of the "which toy to use now" decisions and he chooses this one from time to time. Although we don't use them all the time, only occasionally, I find he has gotten quite adept at their use.

I have taken to keeping them very clean. I clean them in extremely hot water and soap after every use. I also use a bleach spray every few uses and then rinse very well for absolute cleanliness.

This toy is ONLY used on me, we do not share, so there's no fear of contaminating others. Also, the jelly is very hard, and although I know it's porous, we are careful with it.

I am thinking of getting a pair of silicone beads, just so I won't have any jelly left in our collection.

If you are going to use this as an oral toy, I'd suggest getting two sets and keeping them separated. Jelly is somewhat porous, and one for the butt and one for the mouth is best, if you like both!

P'Gell took the words right out of my mouth - even if jelly is washed REALLY well, it's still porous and could be quite problematic if any of that bacteria was to be ingested. Otherwise, very nice review - sorry these weren't quite right for you and your partner though.

Good review. I agree with your comments about the jelly material - as cute as I think these are, I don't think I want them.
  • Contributor: P'Gell
IndepenentlyHappy, we agree about the jelly, and these have been replaced in our collection by the Silicone X10 beads, although they are TPR silicone, and we have plans to purchase the JoyDivision beads in 100$% silicone as soon as they become available.

The 10X Silicone beads [https://www.edenfantasys.com/sex-toy-reviews/anal-toys/an-eye-popping-experience-in-tpr-silicone] are nice if only one person is using them. As My Man doesn't use anal toys on himself, these are all mine and work well.

Great review. We seem to agree on pretty much all points, too--mostly too small, but still fun at times when all the way in. Cute but an unsafe material. Don't share and clean thoroughly. These are good for the price, too, and since they're so cute they'd be fun party favors for a bachelorette party or something similar.
