Casanova - butt plug discontinued by Pleasure Works - review by joiedejouets

Casanova by Pleasure Works is a silicone plug with four beads and a wide flared rectangular base which makes it safe for anal use. It's a great choice for novices of any gender to dip their toe in the pool that is anal play. I don't think it would be very satisfying for more intermediate users as it's quite small.

Although saying that, I'm not exactly a novice when it comes to anal play, and I did find this toy quite pleasurable while wearing.

I've worn Casanova in extended periods of time (about 1 1/2 hours), and it was fairly comfortable, even when sitting. My only comfort complaint is the base might be a little too long and a tad too bulky to sit in complete comfort between the cheeks and occasionally rubs against my lady bits uncomfortably.

Made of high grade silicone, it has no smell or taste and it does have quite a bit of drag to it which goes away with a bit of water-based lube. Casanova is extremely pliable, but saying that, it was very easy to insert. It's silicone is very squishy, and slightly tacky making it a magnet for hair and lint.

The four beads on the casanova are very pleasurable, and the texture is suited for anyone.

Casanova features four stacked beads on a rectangular base and is 4 1/2" in length with 3 1/2 of those bubbly delicious inches being insertable. The circumference is 2 3/4", and the diameter is only 7/8" making insertion a breeze. I really enjoyed the design - Despite the somewhat bulky base that may have just not suited me personally.

My favorite aspect of this toy is how pliable it is. It's really wonderful how they accomplished the perfect level of pliability with this toy. It's not too hard, and it's not too floppy. It maintains it's shape and yet fits so comfortably inside of you. The flared base is very wide ensuring total peace of mind that playtime will be safe, and no emergency room visits will be required.

I also love how easy this is for beginners to use. It is the perfect starting plug.

Casanova is a breeze to clean! Mild soap and hot water do the trick. However, for extra sterilization, you can just throw it in the dishwasher or boil for a few minutes - Done! I store my Casanova in the clear plastic bag it came to me in and I keep that inside of a lovely Sugar Sak toy pouch.

This guy is made of 100% Medical Grade Silicone and as said many times before is only compatible with water-based lubricants.

Casanova is packaged in a white and fuchsia cardboard box and inside the toy is housed inside a clear plastic bag. On the front it proudly displays an enlarged image of the toy itself - Along with 'Anal Toy' written on the side making it not the most discreet packaging. On the side it tells me that this toy is Phthalate free and anal safe. On the other side it tells me this toy was designed by experienced sex educators and made in the USA.




The packaging is completely recyclable for added peace of mind to all of those eco-conscious toy users out there.
