If your new to anal sex and want something a bit more than a finger to play with, then the Casanova may just be for you. Also if your looking for a long wear or smaller plug, the Casanova may work well in those situations as well.

The base is flared well and this makes it a very safe toy to play with. Since there is little to no danger of this one getting lost despite the smallish size of it.

The Casanova is made from silicone (one of the few 10 materials on Eden Fantasy's material safety chart), it is seamless, and mildly squishy to the touch.

Once unwrapped you will immediately notice that it's sticky an has a slight order. The odor goes away after a few days and some washing.

The stickiness may make the Casanova seem unappealing at first, but with lube properly applied this goes away and the plug slides in and out quite easily. Almost turning this into a feature.

Since the Casanova is made from Silicon, you really don't have to worry about allergies or the safety of multiple partner usage (as long as its properly cleaned). Silicon is one of the best materials for toys since it is latex free and hypo allergenic.

This means that toys like this can be cleaned and shared between orifices or partners.

The overall design of Casavonas is much like that of any other ribbed style plug. It starts off with a small bulb at the tip and each bulb gradually works its way up as you go down the shaft. The small end is about the size of a good sized pinkie finger (just shy of 3/4 of an inch). Generally speaking, this toy should fit any level of user easily enough.



The largest bulge on it is just under 1 inch:



Overall length is 4 1/2 inches and insert-able length is about 4 inches.



The flare on the base is 3 inches and will keep it easily from slipping into the rectum.



Just to show you how flexible this plug is, here it is with a "Super soft C-ring" around it. Notice it doesn't even begin to stretch out the C-ring.

Overall, for a beginners toy this isn't a bad buy. The sticky texture takes some getting used to and a lot of lube to overcome, but this could be a good thing as you want lots of lube when you start out.

The only two complaints that we have are;
1) Due to the fact that the bulbs and valleys are so close in size it can slip out easily. Note this means it also slips in easy.
2) It really is too flexible, a bit more rigidity would make it a lot easier to work with. As it is you pretty much have to place your fingers into the next valley to make progress on insertion. Too much pressure and you find yourself with a popped out U in front of you.

Silicon is one of the easiest materials to care for. You don't have to worry about it breaking, you don't have to worry about it holding germs or harboring bacteria. So being Silicon is a good start.

Since this toy is sticky to the touch (even after cleaning) you will want to dry it off when done cleaning and place it back into its own separate bag. If you have furry or feathery toys, then keep them separate from this one as it would easily pull them apart.

The toy did not hold any matter on the surface after removal, so there was no after sight to deal with. This is again a nice lack-of-a-find for new experiences.

Cleaning was simple with warm soapy water, a spray of toy cleaner, and finally a towel drying.

The toy came packaged in a plastic bag. For the price you would expect something a bit more extravagant, but at least you can re-use the bag for storage later.

This plug is very soft and flexible and is a nice starter for anal play. You can't move to fast or it's like trying to shove a wet noodle through a honey coated straw. Play slow and easy and with some closer than normal finger movement and you can have a fun time with it though.

The flare is quite large and will easily keep you from screwing up and placing it in too far. Due to the flexibility we think there is no way you could thrust it to hard or fast without it giving and just bending over on itself.

We used the Casanova for its intended purpose as a butt plug and found that once it was lubed up and ready to go it worked well into our routine. It took a bit of work with fingers holding close behind the bumps to keep the plug making forward progress because it's so flexible.

The similarity between the hills and valleys, made progress with the Casanova pretty easy and not at all discomforting. Once fully inserted the flared based ensures that the plug won't go fully into the anus. Even with a little extra encouragement.

After some time with strictly anal play, we tried having intercourse with the plug inserted. This is where the similarity between the bumps and valleys shows the down side of things. It kept wanting to slip out and eventually found its way off to the side of the bed while play time finished.

With a bit of creativity and some reading one could easily see this being tied in to a harness for anal retention. Without something to hold it in place it will not stay there for long.
