If this is the little guy, I'm not sure I'm ready for the big guy

The Li'l Man is a butt plug made by Doc Johnson. Butt plugs have two main uses. The first use is for additional pleasure while performing other activities, either sexual or non-sexual in nature. The second is for stretching out the anal opening for either a larger toy or anal sex. While butt plugs can be used on their own, they're most often worn during other activities such as intercourse, oral or manual sex, masturbation, or even for long term wear out and about for additional stimulation or stretching. This butt plug is larger in size, despite its name "Li'L Man", so it is best suited for intermediate to advanced users. Being made out of silicone, it also can be used for a mild level of temperature play, where the toy is either heated up or cooled down for additional stimulation. Those serious in temperature play will likely graduate to glass, ceramic, or metal toys, as these hold temperature for a longer period, but for trying things out silicone is a good way to test the waters. Speaking of water, silicone is also waterproof, so use in water is perfectly fine, and warm water can often help the anal muscles relax. Travel is not out of the question with this toy, although there are certainly better suited toys for this due to this toy's large size and non-discreet appearance.

This toy is made out of silicone, which is a very good material due to its ease of cleaning and its sterilizability (mentioned in the Care and Maintenance section). The silicone in this toy is fairly hard in comparison to some other toys' silicone. It has no smell or taste to it and is fairly good about not holding on to smells after use. Unlike some toy designs in this price range, this toy does not have any visible seam, which is a nice feature. The silicone is pure black in color and does not have a velvety feel like some other black silicone toys. Like most silicone toys, it does tend to attract lint or dust. This is easily remedied with a little wash before use.

As mentioned before, this toy is fairly large in size. Beginners should look for something smaller. Users should at least be comfortable with something 1.5" in diameter, and that's a minimum. Such users will likely need to take insertion very slow and may need to re-insert after partial insertion several times before getting it in.

While not completely original, this toy has a somewhat unique design. While most butt plugs have a symmetrical shape, this butt plug puts ridges on one side but not the other. While it may at first be a little more intimidating due to these ridges, they do provide a resting place while inserting. The plug can be inserted with the ridges facing either forward or backward but it feels more natural with them facing forward. The asymmetrical design also has another advantage: the toy stays in very well despite its relatively short neck.

As mentioned above, this butt plug stays in fairly well. It's too large for long term wear for most, but it could very likely be used during intercourse or other activities due to this. The ripples aren't really felt very much. While it does hit the p-spot, it doesn't target it specifically. Most stimulation will come from the anal opening instead, along with the very full feeling this toy's size will provide. The base on this toy, while comfortable either standing or on your back, is not the best when sitting down on your butt. It can be done, but there are better butt plugs for this with more comfortable bases.

Being made out of silicone, this toy is very easy to clean. The ridges are smooth, so there's no real chance of anything getting caught on them. Cleaning is easy with only soap and water necessary for regular cleaning. For those those sharing, silicone is sterilizable either by boiling in water for 5 minutes or soaking in a water/bleach solution. The main thing to remember with silicone toys is not to combine them with other silicone. So, don't use silicone lubricants and don't store it touching other silicone toys (or other toys for that matter). Both of these can cause discoloration or degradation. With this in mind, your toy should last for many years to come.

Li'l Man comes in almost identical packaging to other Doc Johnson toys. While not the greatest, it can be reused for storage, albeit taking up more room than necessary. The packaging has a removable insert containing a few selling points on the toy. There are very few instructions, and the packaging is not the most discreet, although it doesn't contain any lewd or pornographic imagery.

This toy took me a good amount of time to get in. Once inserted, it's VERY filling. Overall this is a pretty good toy.
