The lil man - prostate massager discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Starlight Requiem

First I'd like to say that the name for the toy is a bit misleading. "The Lil' Man" is a bit thicker than you might think. The thickest part near the base is about 2" across. Definitely not something for a newbie to anal stimulation, or someone who doesn't know what they are doing.

The Packaging
The package is simple plastic with a piece of paper inside, similar to most other toys, that gives sparse information about the toy. The fact that it is made of silicone is displayed rather prominently, of course, and the fact that it is safe to be cleaned in a dishwasher.

The Toy
The toy itself is rather heavy, given how solid it is. It also features three distinct — according to the package — sizes, from small to large, that you can definitely feel as you insert the item. These sizes offer differing amounts of stimulation, though I wouldn't expect a beginner to be able to take the largest size inside without some time stretching and working their way up to it.

Cleaning and Storage
The only thing the package tells you is that the toy is dishwasher safe. Nothing else is given about cleaning it. Soap and water should be okay, or toy cleaner that is safe for use on silicone.

Being silicone, the toy has no smell of it's own. However, it can acquire a smell after being within your body, depending on when you use it. I would highly recommend a cleansing enema, even if it is just water, before you make use of this toy. This will help to flush out anything in the immediate area the toy will occupy, and will allow you to use it without it acquiring any unpleasant aromas.

The package itself is the best way to store the toy, though if you have other options use them, by all means. You can slip the toy back into the plastic and tuck it away in a cool dry spot rather easily, to prevent anything from happening to the item.

My Experience
For my part, I have to admit, I could not take the largest part of the plug. I managed to get the thick part about halfway inside before I felt pain, after which I stopped, of course. Given its thickness, two inches or so, most might have a similar problem. (I had lubed it up fairly well, as well as lubing myself, so that wasn't a problem.)

For safety reasons, I'd like to take a moment to say that if you are thinking of trying this item, and have never had anything at least two inches in thickness within your anus, to be careful on insertion. You don't want to tear something important inside yourself. (Nothing like a trip to the ER with a blown anus. Try explaining that to the female ER doctor…)

If you are determined to use the item, build yourself up to it. Use smaller items and allow your body to grow accustomed to the size, before increasing the thickness. You can train yourself to take larger items, it just takes patience.
