The Glo Slim Vibrating by Doc Johnson is a vibrating butt plug with seven different vibration settings. While it is a butt plug, this also can be used vaginally, orally, or used for any external stimulation with the vibrations.

The best part about this butt plug is that it's great for both beginners and advanced users. This has a total of seven different vibration types, making it suitable for both beginners with a mild vibration and an advanced user for the more sensational vibration options.

As a butt plug alone, it works just as well. Because the cord is detachable from the remote, there isn't much of a hassle when trying to use the plug alone; however, the cord is permanently attached to the plug.

This product is PVC, made with the antibacterial Sil-A-Gel formula. According to the package, it is phthalate free, cadmium free, latex free, and is made in America.

The product is soft and firm. While it does bend to shape your body, it holds its shape well to perform its function as a butt plug. It is a very smooth texture, so beginners won't be overwhelmed by ribbed feelings. Because it is a smooth texture, it is good for both beginners into anal play and advanced users who like more straightforward feelings in their toys.

The material has a sweet scent to it, much like most Sil-A-Gel PVC toys. It isn't too strong, so it doesn't give me a headache. As I am very sensitive to smells, this is really nice for me. It tastes just as it smells, very sweet, almost like the smell of roses in a way.

The shape is just like most classic butt plugs out there. It starts off thin, gets a bit thicker, and then thins down again at the neck. This design is great for butt plugs.

The thing about this design that really bugs me is the cord. It is really nice that the remote can actually be removed from the product (which some vibrators do not allow), but the cord just dangles off of the plug. This is annoying for a few reasons. First, it makes the plug a bit more difficult to clean because you have to be careful with where the water goes. Second, it make it a little weird when trying to use the plug without the vibrations. Third, if you want to use it all day, you have to get the cord in a comfortable and non-revealing position.

The size was really nice. It's only a one inch diameter at its thickest point and has 3.5 inches insertable length. This is great for beginners because they can test what they like without really trying to force it. And with more advanced users, the size may be a bit too small, but I feel that the vibrations make up for it.

The best part of this toy in my opinion is the diverse range of vibrations. It starts of slow to stronger, then it pulses at different speeds and strengths. You can also mix it up my pressing the switch randomly, giving you a very intense feeling.

The stronger the vibrations, however, the louder it gets. When outside your body, this thing is pretty darn loud. It can probably be heard from the room next to you. When inside your body, this can't really be heard at all unless they're inside the same room with you.

This butt plug did its job as a sex toy, but it didn't really glow in the dark. This was advertised to glow in the dark, but it really didn't happen. Maybe because I was looking for it I spotted it, but it didn't glow in the dark. Personally, I don't really mind but it didn't function as advertised in the name or on the packaging.

This toy is compatible with water-based lubricants. I am not too sure about silicone lube because I have some other toys of the same material that are and aren't compatible with silicone lubes.

To clean the toy, all you need is soap and warm water. I recommend drying it with a patting motion, as to not rub lint all over it. I found that patting it keeps almost all lint off. Just be careful with the wire. Try to hold the wire back under your arm when cleaning to avoid damaging the electrical parts.

To store it, I put it back in the plastic packaging it came in, and then I put it in the box.

There wasn't much to the packaging. It came in a plastic molding to hold both the plug and the remote. The plastic was then packaged in a cardboard box.

On the box, there isn't too much information except for on the back. On the sides, it just says Glo with a few logos. On the front, it has Glo written, some selling points, and you can see the actual product through the plastic. On the back of the box lists the material features, vibration functions, and everything said again in six different languages.

My biggest complaint is that I wish the cord was detachable. It would cause less worry when I'm cleaning it because I always worry that I will get water into it and break it. Other than that, it was really nice. It worked well for me as a warm-up for bigger toys, and it also worked well alone with the intensity of the vibrations.

The lack of glow-in-the dark function strikes me weird. It's in the name, but it didn't glow. I think it has to do with the material, but I don't know. It doesn't really matter to me, but I'm curious.

Basically, then worry when cleaning it is what keeps this product from being perfect. If you have trouble cleaning it safely, you'll want to use it less so you can preserve it. There isn't much chance of it getting damaged, but the possibility is still there.

I was really looking forward to this because it had a nice insertable length and a small thickness. I love both, but I was very eager to try length without girth. This felt exactly as I hoped it would. Some of the vibrations were really intense at first for me, but I grew to really enjoy them rather quickly. This product was really useful to me, both as a warm up toy and on its own.
