My G-Spot Approves...Sort Of

Couture seduction is a sleek, body-safe toy that's very versatile. It can be used both as an anal plug and a g-spot "rider" vibrator. Those with sensitive clitorises will probably enjoy Couture's rather buzzy, none-too-intense vibrations. However, advanced users will want to look elsewhere.

Use

For those who crave divine pressure to their P/G-spot, the Couture Seduction may just be a good choice. Although it isn't very long, the flat, elongated head and delicious girth can provide some very satisfying orgasms. The curved base ensures that this toy is perfectly safe for anal use. For women whose clitorises lie close by to their vaginas, they may also be able to obtain simultaneous G-spot/clit stimulation, as the Couture seduction also vibrates. The toy can also be used just for external stimulation as well. The vibrations are great for stimulating sensitive (i.e. not steel) clits; they're also great for the perineum, nipples, and pretty much any erogenous zone.

Couture isn't too big, so you could get away with taking her on your vacation. She's also not terribly loud, so as long you hide her buzzing with background noise or some thick blankets, you should be all set. Couture is primarily meant for solo play, though there's no reason why you can't use her with your lover. The specs on EF claim that Couture is waterproof. Technically, silicone is waterproof, but the control box may not be, even if it does have a tight seal. I'd use extreme caution if you want to take her into the bath.

Material / Texture

Couture is made of 100% medical grade, body-safe silicone. This material gets a full 10 on the Material Safety Index. Pure silicone is probably the safest material of them all (with stainless steel and glass as very close seconds) because it is entirely non-porous. The texture is completely smooth. It doesn't have any bumps or pronounced swirls/ridges to give it extra stimulation, but I personally don't think the Couture needs any. Beginners will appreciate this, as well as more advanced users who don't care for lots of texture. The Couture is also odorless and tasteless. It has a soft feel, though it feels slightly more akin to rubber than velvet silk.

Design / Shape / Size

The Couture's shape starts off as looking almost like a traditional phallus, only the head is rather flat and elongated on one side, and totally flat on the other. The shaft tapers down into a base slightly wider than the shaft. The whole thing sits on a curved base, with indents on both sides. It's got a total length of 4.5 inches, with an insertable length of 3 inches. It's 3.75 inches in circumference and 1.25 inches in diameter. It's slightly weighty, at almost half a pound.

The Couture has enough girth to feel great when vaginally inserted, yet not so girthy as to scare off beginners entirely. I don't play anally at all, but I can definitely say that this is not the anal plug for anal beginners. More experienced anal adventurers would probably like it. I imagine this would make for some nice P-spot stimulation for the men.

Depending on your anatomy, this might be able to provide you with simultaneous G-spot/C-spot stimulation. Sadly, that didn't work for me and I was slightly bummed because that's what I thought it would do when I purchased it. The design is great for my G-spot, though. I also really like the curved base, because I can rock on it when it's inside me, providing some really nice pressure to all the right spots without catching on my pubic bone.

This doesn't have a discreet design at all. Don't leave it sitting out if you have roommates and/or children.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Couture has a variety of vibration patterns. The vibration functions are controlled with a small remote attached to the base of the vibrator/plug. The button with the squiggly line turns it on and off, while the button on the bottom cycles through the various patterns. It has the standard low, medium, and high steady vibes, as well as various escalations, roller-coaster vibes and pulses. I find the vibes rather buzzy, so that's a slight turn-off. The vibrations are felt throughout the entire toy; I don't notice them concentrated in any one particular part of the toy. I tried using this toy as a clitoral vibrator; it wasn't strong enough to give me an orgasm and I find the buzzy vibes are irritating to my vaginal walls when inserted.

This toy takes two AAA batteries that go in the back of the remote. Since this toy is supposedly waterproof, there is a seal and the compartment seems to close-up pretty tightly. I would not suggest submerging this toy, but it could probably hold up in the shower as long as you aren't using it directly underneath the water spray.

This vibe isn't terribly noisy, but you would probably want to mask the sound with blankets, a fan, TV, etc, if you have family/roommates. This toy also does a good job of using batteries efficiently; it's not a guzzler, but I'd still recommend removing them in between uses so they last even longer.

Care and Maintenance

Silicone is VERY easy to care for. Warm water and soap, toy cleaner, a 10% bleach solution and toy wipes are acceptable ways to clean the Couture. Use this toy with water-based lubes; silicone lubes on silicone toys can destroy the entire toy, so silicone lube on the Couture is a BIG no-no. You can store this in its packaging or in a toy pouch to keep it lint-free. I wouldn't put this in a box/chest/other container where it would be in contact with other toys, just so it lasts. Store it away from extreme heat/sunlight.

Packaging

The Couture arrives in a clear box with lots of texts describing the toy. Inside the outer plastic box is a plastic tray that perfectly holds the vibrator/plug itself and the control box. It's great for storage, as long you keep it hidden from view if you don't live alone. If you're going to give it as a gift, I would advise wrapping it first or putting it in a gift bag with some filler gift paper.

Experience

The first time I used this toy, I actually hated it. It didn't fit my body like I thought it would; it didn't hit my G-spot and clit all at once and the vibes were just too buzzy and weak for me. The second time I used it, I made sure to warm up first with one of my bullets. I also didn't turn on the vibrations; I just gently slid it inside of me and gently rocked back and forth on the curved base. MUCH better. The elongated, flat head nestled my G-spot perfectly, giving some pretty nice pressure. Using it in combination with one of my trusty bullets sent me over the edge in no time. From then on, I used it that way; not using the vibes, just as a regular dildo.
