Non-skid plug junior - butt plug discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Sunshineamine

I got the non-skid junior plug as a part of Eden's 70% off sale for around four bucks. The product page gave excellent specs for a beginner friendly starter plug and it was dirt cheap so I had to have it. The non-skid junior is a small, non-threatening plug that is slender and user friendly. It is ideal for beginners or someone who would just rather have a petite plug for play, like I do. It's intended use is as an anal plug and I wouldn't use it any other way. It can be used in solo play, partner play, or it can be worn through out the day. It can go in water too.



Doc Johnson has made this economical and comfortable plug out of rubber. So anyone with allergies or sensitive skin might want to avoid this, but I have had no problems. Rubber is a three on the safety scale that Eden provides because it is a porous material. With a vaginal toy made of rubber I am more cautious, but an anal toy made of rubber does not bother me. Yes it is porous, so it will retain bacteria, but so does the anus so likelihood of developing an infection anally from using this and washing it well before and after use is minimal. To be on the safe side you can certainly cover this in a condom or a toy cover before use though. Also, if sharing this toy make sure it is covered since it can not be sterilized.

FLEXIBILITY OF THE NON-SKID


This plug is coated in a non-skid type rubber,which actually provides a tiny bit of light texture, but it is barely noticeable. It is just less likely to pop out of place. It hasn't happened to me anyway. This does smell rubbery right out of the package. Several washes made the smell diminish somewhat. It flat out stunk like tires at first. But, once washed it was tolerable. I immediately fell in love with it's size. A modest 3 1/2" that can be inserted, and only a mere 1" in diameter, this plug is highly comparable to the average size male middle finger. When lubed up well it glides in easy, feels great and stays in place. It is also flexible and pretty comfortable. I have not worn mine for extended periods of time, so I can't give a fair assessment of whether or not it is comfortable for all day wear. What I can say is that the flared base does rest comfortably between the cheeks and I do not think that it would be uncomfortable. It it the perfect shape and size for me personally and is everything I want in a plug, though I would like to get one in a higher quality material that has the same dimensions.

To wash my plug I wash it in hot soapy water after each use, and before each use I wipe it down with a toy wipe. This plug is compatible with both water and silicone based lubes. It came in a highly obvious clear plastic package boldly proclaiming this as a non-skid butt plug. I recycled my packaging and store mine in a tin container I reserve for anal toys.

I like this plug a lot and do use it fairly often for solo play, I wear it and stimulate my clit, or even thrust it a little, both ways are great. I also use this on occasion in partner play, but for instances when we don't have PIV sex. For instance, I'll give him a blow job and he'll use this on me as a mini-anal dildo so we can just get each other off. I love the small size of this so that it doesn't seem threatening or prove to be painful if your partner manipulates the toy for you. One thing is certain, this can not be inserted in a female and have PIV sex still be possible. The length of the base WILL get in the way of vaginal insertion. I haven't found a way for it to work anyway.

Great beginner plug or the ultimate plug for someone who would rather have a more petite anal toy. I love this, even though it is rubber and I will use this often and use it well. An all around great toy.
