The best way to use this toy is to cover it with a condom and use the lube of your preference. I'm not entirely sure on the safety of jelly, but clean up is super easy when it's covered with a condom (I found the hard rider condoms added an ever so slight hint of texture to it).

It has a slightly funny odor to it out of the box. It's soft with a definite firmness to it, but it is still squishy. As I mentioned, I don't recommend this for beginners looking for a toy to use for their first time. On myself, the biggest part of this plug hurt a bit when it was going in and coming out...it was fine once it was in, but removal and insertion wasn't pleasant.

As I said, the size of this plug is a little big, I would recommend this for someone who has experience with plugs, for someone who is a beginner I would recommend something smaller for your first toy. In that same breath I am a bit smaller than most probably are, so it will also depend on your own body type.
I did greatly enjoy the design, but I would have really enjoyed it more if it was smaller at it's biggest point. This may be more of a personal preference and may depend on body type, but it is what I noticed.

There's not really much to the performance. The plug goes in and stays in which is all it really was designed for. I wouldn't recommend walking with it, as the base would be uncomfortable between the cheeks if standing.
The really nice part of it though is that once it's in, it won't come out even through tensing and orgasm (assuming beginner as I was with initial use), you do have to give it a good tug to remove it.

Care is probably annoying, but I found the best way to use these types of toys is to use a condom with them because this makes cleanup so much easier than having to wash it.
If you were to not use a condom, I really don't think clean up will be easy at all. The "jelly" material seems to hold things in, so because of that it would probably not be that healthy to use without having something covering it.

The packaging when I received mine was a little bit nervousness inducing because it wasn't sealed all the way around. It was in one of those "pull apart to open" plastic containers... it would have been better if it were like some of those electronics you buy where you have to use a knife or scissors to get into the package.
The packaging was not discreet at all, the completely clear plastic showed what was in the packaging.

All in all this is not a bad toy, it's just a shame about the packaging, the material it's made of and the requirement (what I believe to be) of putting a condom on it due to the material. If given an option I probably wouldn't choose this again due to these concerns, but if these aren't an issue for you then it's not such a bad toy.
