Not really my favorite ride.

This is an OK toy, but I feel like it should be priced lower to be really worth it. For this price, I think it's better to get something a bit better. The vibrations on this toy are too buzzy, the material is too hard to be very comfortable for anal, and I find it to be too long.

Use

The Ripple Rider is billed as an anal vibrator. Its flared base makes it safe to use as such, and the bulbed design does feel good for anal use.

This toy could also easily be used for clitoral or vaginal stimulation, or anywhere else you enjoy vibrations.

Material / Texture

The base of the toy is plastic, as is standard for many toys, while the body is made of TPE . This material ranks a 6 on Eden's safety scale, and is somewhat porous, so it is best to use a condom with this toy, especially if you intend to share it or use it in multiple orifices. Do not boil the toy. Instead, clean it with toy cleaner and/or soap and water.

The feel of the TPE material is pretty nice. It has very little drag, and feels quite rigid and completely smooth. Though it can bend just a bit, it clearly isn't meant to and the toy is mostly hard. This makes it a bit less forgiving when it comes to anal play, so be certain that you are properly prepared before using this toy!

Design / Shape / Size

The Ripple Rider has a bulged/beaded design to it, which makes it fun to use both anally and vaginally.
The overall shape of the toy is nice. Very simple and straightforward, but it still feels great.

It measures almost 9" long in total, with 7" being insertable. At its widest point, the Ripple Rider is 4 3/4" around.

The only problem I personally have with this toy is with its length. I find that it could probably do without the tiny little bulges right at the top, as these add an extra inch or so to the overall length, and because of these I can not comfortably insert this toy to the base, either anally or vaginally.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This toy does vibrate, running on 2 AAA batteries which can be inserted by screwing off the base of the toy.
It is controlled by a button on the base, which cycles through the vibration speeds.

While this is a straightforward toy, I sometimes found that the batteries in mine did not make a great connection and sometimes, the Ripple Rider would not turn on for me.

The vibrations in this toy were pretty underwhelming for me. Though they can get strong, they are very buzzy and just didn't feel super great. Better than nothing at all, but meh.

Care and Maintenance

The TPE material of the Ripple Rider won't last forever and ever, but it will hold up longer than jelly in the long term. Do not let this toy rest against others while stored, as the material can and will react with others and could damage or ruin your toys!

Use a condom if sharing this toy or using it in multiple orifices, and clean it with toy cleaner, and/or soap and warm water. Store it without the batteries in it to prevent damage to the inner workings of the Ripple Rider.

Packaging

The Ripple Rider was packaged in a plastic box with some general information about the toy, a picture of it on every side, and a window in front which shows the toy. The packaging is most certainly not discreet!
