Gapers organic - probe discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Cookie Monster Mike

This is a highly versatile inflatable plug for sure. Why it’s called "organic," I’m really not sure. Initially, what I found useful is that when it is deflated its only 1 ½” thick. This is not really for a beginner in anal play, but more for people ready to move past the starter kits. Deflated, it has a nice shape to its shaft and I find it’s easy to insert with minor lube application. Before inflation it is a very stiff and hard plug, not flexible really in anyway. From there, simply grab a hold of the pumping mechanism, make sure the air control is set to keep the air sealed in the plug, and slowly start to inflate it. I recommend doing this before using it to verify there are no holes/leaks. This will also give you a good sense of the shape and size. Overall its use is versatile because you can stretch your anus in slow increments without buying multiple different toys to work your way up. Average to experienced users can enjoy this with or without the inflation, but the feeling of this thing slowly expanding inside of you is truly amazing. Be careful not to use too much lube as it may cause it to slide out very easily.

Maybe I’m missing something, or just not experienced enough, but the material listing is Latex (Safety level 4) and Metal (Safety level 9). The problem is that under the product features it says “Latex Free”. If anyone else is confused by this, there is definitely latex around this toy; the part that inflates outwards is latex for sure. I bought this quite some time ago when I was experimenting a bit more with anal play. The latex is not smooth, rather when you run your finger over the material when it’s deflated; it makes a squeaky noise, similar to a balloon. To me this is like nails on a chalk board. As far as the feeling of the material when I use it anally, there’s not really any discomfort from it. There is a light odor but not much; after much anal use I have not noticed any increasingly strong odors. Always use a condom when sharing latex toys and for longer durability of this toy even in solo play. Unfortunately, I’m not sure how but my Gapers Organic no longer stays inflated. I have not been able to determine if there is a material defect or the pumping mechanism itself over time and become faulty. I must add this happened after a long period of time of use and not shortly after I bought it.

Overall, the design is fairly good and should suit most people’s needs. Anyone looking to keep this plug inside for longer periods of use, you might have to try something else. I find that it can sometimes be hard to keep this inside the anus without it popping out. Usually too much lube causes this and not much is required for insertion. A nice deep magenta purple color makes it enticing however it’s overall size cam be intimidating to some. Lying on its side, it is somewhat reminiscent of an air ship. The top of the base is hard; the very bottom underside is a squishy layer of latex. Overall, it’s held back by the material; too much rough play may result in air leaks therefore making it almost pointless to use. Some nice facts are that I never experienced any bulging; for the most part it inflated evenly with no defects. Also, it seemed to inflate evenly while inside of me, an easy turn knob allows for quick release of air when needed.

Overall, the performance was more than what I had expected from only previously reading the product information. It provided unique pleasure I have never felt with any other toy before. The pump reminds me of being at the doctors when they are checking my blood pressure, but in the case of Gaper’s Organic, it’s checking your ass pressure. It gave me a very satisfying fulfilling experience; feeling it expand inside of me was a major turn on. What I really enjoyed was leaving it inflated (not too extreme) and penetrating my ass over and over. This gave me something my other anal toys could not deliver, the ability to change the thickness anytime to work myself up to new challenges. Anyone looking for a good stretch this is definitely worth a shot. Just learn from my mistakes and take good care of the toy; use a condom and clean it properly. However, you are limited, you won’t want to use this in a wet environment; usually I would just lie in bed and play around with it.

Latex is a very porous material; it does not clean thoroughly at all. Be sure to try use condoms as much as possible on this to prolong its lifespan. Use warm soapy water to clean it off; a mild or light soap is recommended and no harsh cleaners or alcohols. I use a water-based lube on this but silicone lube is also acceptable. I generally re-inflate the Gaper's Organic slightly while washing it, helps to expand the material and get a deeper clean in my opinion. Usually it's best to store it in a cool dark place, like a shoe box, etc. Try to keep it separated from other toys that are not latex material.

My over experience was very enjoyable at first, having that feeling of something growing and expanding inside of me. Overtime I found myself less and less interested as I progressed in my anal adventures and moved onto other toys. It was a great starter toy and a good learning experience. Overall, I was fairly pleased, but I wish the toy had lasted a little bit longer. I will admit is was incredibly fun to position it about half way of the length inside of me and slowly watch it expand my anus open. Seeing it stretch more and more was a major turn on, especially the feeling it gave me.
