Nothing special...

I bought this as a step up toy to larger plugs and this was one of the few options in this size range that was in my budget. It was an ok purchase, but not one I am sure I would make again. I really dislike the smell and feel of rubber and this toy is no exception. For the most part the toy is well designed and does its job well, but there isn't anything about it that is fantastic either.

Use

This is a realistic butt plug. It is specifically designed for anal play and has a flared base so that it won't be pulled into the body by a random muscle spasm. Theoretically, it can also be used vaginally, but it is a bit short for that. Remember that you'll want to use a condom when switching between orifices or partners with this because it is made of rubber which is a porous material.

The Pleasure Plug has no electronic parts, so you can take it with into the tub/shower/pool/spa.

I personally like using plugs in general to simulate double penetration with a partner, and I purchased this toy as I was working up to realistic sizes.

Material / Texture

This toy is designed to be as realistic as possible, and it succeeds reasonably well. The texture accurately mimics an actual penis. The rubber itself isn't a great material for mimicking skin, but it does have veins a ridges. The rubber is fairly firm also, but it isn't completely rigid.

This toy reeked like most rubber toys do. It has dissipated over the last two weeks, but it is still apparent.

My Pleasure Plug has the same problem almost every single rubber toy I own has; there is something about rubber toys that just feel cheap to me. I appreciate the low cost of them, but with the smell and how they feel, I very rarely find a rubber toy that is worth keeping. The only reason I keep purchasing them is I am still experimenting and figuring out what I like in toys, and rubber is cheap way to do that.

Design / Shape / Size

I would consider this to be an advanced beginner or intermediate sized toy. It's 4" in total with 3.5" It's got a 5.75" total circumference. It's not a toy that I would have chosen to start exploring anal play with at all, so I wouldn't recommend it for beginners.

I had a big plus with this and a big minus.

The plus:
I really like plugs that have rectangular bases which this one has. I have quite the ass and round bases never sit right and if I move at all, the plug gets pushed out by my cheeks. Rectangular bases sit between the cheeks and I can keep a plug in as long as I want. The base on this toy was completely comfortable.

The minus:
The ridge on the head of the toy seemed very severe to me. It always felt like a really big drop from the ridge to the shaft, and I didn't like it. Others may not care at all but it bothers me a lot.

Performance

This is a pretty average plug. The realistic shape makes it a little blunt on entry, but overall it's nothing special.

It doesn't include any vibrating pieces. It's a very basic toy.

Care and Maintenance

Rubber only rates a 3 on the EF safety scale because it cannot be fully sanitized. It's a porous material that can only be cleaned with toy cleaner or mild soap and warm water.

On the other hand, it doesn't need any special considerations for storing. You can just drop it into a drawer, box, or whatever and forget about it. Also, rubber is compatible with both water and silicone based lubes, so use whatever works for you as a lubricant!
    • Easy to store

Packaging

This came in a plastic clam shell like almost all of my Doc Johnson toys have. It was clear and you could clearly see the toy, so I would not call this discreet. It had some basic information about the toy, but not much. Mostly the manufacturer, name of the toy, and where it was made. All that mandatory legal stuff.

You could use the packaging for storage, but it is a bit big and would waste a lot of space for something that doesn't need special storage considerations.

Personal comments

This toy would be useful for those that are looking for a little bit of a larger plug like I was. I found it mostly comfortable and easy to use. I just felt that the downsides of rubber made this not a fantastic toy.
Follow-up commentary
Maybe I sold this toy a little short... but not too short. The smell dissipated about halfway, and I find myself using once in while. I like that is isn't completely firm, but still not a squishy as my UR3 plug. It's a good size for me right now as well, so I think I will end up using it for a while until I can replace it with a better material.
