These are anal beads made by Cal Exotics they make 3 different sizes and color of these hard plastic balls: red, yellow, and blue. The color dictates the size of them. Which are connected to each other with a piece of rope holding them together. There should be no concerns of the product safety, as it's made out of a Food-grade material that's latex free, phthalates free, and hypo-allergenic for those of us who do have allergies. I ordered the red (supposed to be large). I didn't measure them, but according to the measurements they're 10” long, with an insertable length of 8 ½”, the circumference is 3” and diameter of1”.

The "beads" can be cleaned fairly easily by using anti-bacterial soap and warm water or even rubbing it down with an alcohol wipe; however the tricky part is the retrieval cord holding them together. The retrieval cord is made of nylon. We can go through the painful steps of uniting the retrieval cord, pull the string from the beads, and soak the string in a cup of bleach mix or Pine-Sol mix and let it soak (depending on which you'd rather smell). Then we have the arduous task of stringing the beads back on. One idea that just came to me is perhaps putting them in a washing machine and dryer and see what happens. I think I'll try that out the next time I use these. Weeks latter I sniffed these again and I can still smell the Pine-Sol.

I know a lot of toys can be used both vaginally as well as anally, which is impossible with these. They can also be shared with more than one partner; however I would have to strongly advise against that, due to the fact the string is difficult to wash and it can hold all kinds of things. Putting a condom over these to use on multiple partners will prove to be a failure, so I do not recommend sharing these with others.

I like what I like and I know what I want; I like for my beads to go in smoothly, stretching me enough that I have a fully filled sensation, and once I reach that point then, I go a little farther reaching for something a bit larger. That's what I was going for with the purchase, was that next step up. However, I didn't expect the next step to be a major set back.

For me a large ball would be the size of a large Ben-wa ball (if not bigger), heck even the size of a golf ball at least (I know what I'm able to take). But I stayed open-minded and kept telling myself all through work that, they haven't been tested out yet.

I tested them out this afternoon and faced (again) the utmost disappointment. I knew that they were connected with rope and knew what to expect with the taring and what knot. Upon insertion of each ball, I found out why I stopped using them in the first place. My suggestion to everybody that's interested in the product is just to skip this and save up the points for something better.

These may have been the Big deal when I first started anal play many years ago, but knowing what's out on the market now I truly have to say that I'll never use these again.
